Everything is overpriced in the Bay area, but this place is actually reasonable. The rooms are updated and some other posts talk about the beds being very firm, which they are. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors all around. I would recommend a room upstairs. The second story walkway is impossible to walk on without being...

I stayed here on business.I travel frequently. This review is based on my experiences in the bay area. Curb appeal was very nice. the flower gardens are a nice touch and well taken care of in the front of the facility and also throughout the common areas, new parking lot which was freshly painted along with the entire building ,...

Great location outside San fran near a really good shopping centre. Great shower and the room was nicely done out. Breakfast was fine but the pastries ran out on both days we were there. I would stay here again.

My boyfriend and arrived late on a Sunday night, without a reservation and after having no luck finding a hotel in San Fransisco. It was around 11pm, the owner was the BEST. He gave us a king sized bed for the price of a queen, and he even allowed us to pay the same amount the next day when we...

I saw good reviews on TripAdvisor for this place (through the Hipmunk app, which uses TripAdvisor for reviews), and since I didn't find any extra vacancy anywhere else and I procrastinated, I reserved a room. It was a huge, epic mistake. I checked in, which was an experience in and of itself, and then went to my room. The first...

Stayed here for exactly 30 minutes last evening when I discovered bedbugs in the room and bloody stains on the bedskirt. Found a live bedbug on the bedskirt and crushed it and it was full of blood. Luckily bedbugs do not carry diseases that humans can catch (in the way that ticks carry lime disease, for example). They are harmless...

I like to stay out of the city - cheaper, free parking, quick drive on the 101 to get into town. I find this hotel consistent in what it offers but there is one quirk. The bed frame is longer than the mattress and everytime I walk past the bed, I bump into the frame and bruise my leg. Additionally,...

The big (misleading) plus: Close to the San Mateo Convention Center. Granted it's a walk through a back alley, possible sweat shops, and close by the South Bay's largest XXX store (neon purple lights on a black building). The proximity, never having been here before was the only reason I chose to stay here, that and the fact that there...

Stayed here for just an overnight stay and to start off the surrounding neighborhood didn't make me feel all that safe but once in the parking lot of the hotel it seemed just fine. The place looked liked it has been remodel recently and they did a great job at making it look nice! The room was a bit on...

  • Inner bathroom door spots (blood?)
  • toilet roll handle
  • empty tissue box; only toiletries given; stained 'clean' towel
