Convenient Location.... Restaurant was excellent - only issue was the room was a bit musty smelling, nothing serious, but you notice that when you walk in. Likely a result if the sea air that's constantly present. I'd stay there again.

They have remodeled the rooms since we were here the last time. The rooms are more up to date. They are furnished with refrigerators and coffee pots. Some rooms have microwaves but not all. This hotel is across the street from the ocean and very convenient to take a walk on the beach.

We stayed only for one night. The room was clean and cosy, and the beds were large and comfortable. The blanket was a bit small for 2 persons to share. It was really difficult to connect to their wifi (they have many channels that probably interfere with each other), and, moreover, it was really slow. They also serve breakfast "à...

Smelled terrible, highly questionable cleanliness, and the worse part was the loud noise. Stayed on the ground floor. Could hear the loud noises from guests from upstairs. When they finally went to sleep, we could hear their snoring. Needless to say, we were in a rush to get out of there asap as soon as the sun came up. Pictures...

The hotel is right off Highway 1. It is a pretty large property with a swimming pool, mini mart, restaurant and a karaoke bar. The room was relatively clean and it came with a mini fridge. The bed was old and was very uncomfortable. One of the wall lights did not work either. I could also smell some bad odor...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the is more of a 2.5 star place, the room was large and had amenities like a mini fridge and microwave but everything just felt old and questionably clean. Ok for one night.

Nice clean room. Older, but nicely maintained and decorated, Shower head was too low for me. They should install hand held shower head. for tall people. No microwave in room. They have an on site restaurant , so I guess leaving out a microwave is good for business. Liquor store is within a short walk. Hearst Castle is close and...

Room smelled strongly of disinfectant or chlorine, mold on wall near sliding glass door, towel holder broken, bathroom lighting poor, no bathroom fan, room cramped, loud base music very late... No thanks.

The check inn went very smooth and fast. The room we had at the ground floor, wasn't that big, but it had a good terrace, so if you just stay one night it's OK. The Restaurant was very nice, and had very good food, and also outside serving. At the terracce you could sit an relax and enjoy the sunset...

San Simeon Lodge is location is excellent while you are on a scenic drive route from SF to LA. The rooms are comfortable enough, there is a restaurant and bar in premises and beach across the road. There is also an outdoor pool. We were there for a second time. Good price/quality value.
