Through desperation and panic we booked a powered site for an RV over the Easter weekend. $110 per night and we were told only a 3 night stay possible due to Easter. Loads of noise post lights out - worst we experience in 2 weeks of touring. Star gazing was interesting and a few organised activities. Sites were pretty small...

Clean, pretty campground 15 minutes outside of Santa Barbara. 20 minute walk to ocean. The beach closest was small, but the next beach north, Refugio State Beach was way nicer. Nice pool, very scenic nature walk leaving right from campground. The wild mustard was as tall as me in places.

Very nice RV park with a ton of amenities. From the heated pool to the store that stays open until 10pm this place was great. All sites were clean and well maintained. Walking distance to El Capitan Canyon which has a restaurant, two stores and walking trails to go on. May have been my first stay here but for sure...

We've stayed here many times and wouldn't be anywhere near that part of CA without staying at Ocean Mesa. Pleasant staff, easy access, good food at El Capitan Park, walk to the beach, feels like you're in the middle of nowhere yet it's right off of highway 101.

We stayed during late fall and the grounds are very quiet during weekdays. It is very close to the freeway so get a spot further away. It is pricey but they offer winter rates if you book in August. You can walk to El Capitan State Beach and next door is another campground that has luxury tents. The staff is...

Besides being near the train tracks it was nice great view! Beach was lovely- However we stopped at the market during the hours it was suppose to be open NO one was around. We went to the check booth and was told they were out surfing! Lol say what? We had to go the freeway to find an exit that...

Our site was nice and clean, but we did not have a view of the ocean as we were told due to the plants being very tall. The real disappointment was the burned out mountain and trails. There was absolutely nothing to see on our hike up the trail. We were not told about the fire in June when we...

We have stayed here on average a couple times a year for the last 4 years. We have noticed signs that something has changed from the last few visits . The landscaping does not to appear to be trimmed as well as it used to. This hides the great qualities of this park (Ocean View). Side walks are covered with...

I knew the price upfront. So I am hesitant to complain about that. But going in I was wondering what a 115 dollars per night RV place would offer. Maybe your own restroom? Or an amazing pool with water slides etc? Maybe breakfast included? Anyway I had big expectations. But non of these came true 🙁. Sure it is a...

We stumbled upon this RV park after our original destination, Refugio State Beach park was full. It was a Friday afternoon and all the local state parks were packed to the rafters. I called the front desk and was informed that they had plenty of vacancies. I was initially perturbed by price of a nightly stay but forged on ahead,...
