I am just back from a 4-night stay at the Simpson House wishing I could have stayed longer! Built in 1874, the inn has been lovingly restored and maintained since the 1990s. I had the smallest room, the Mary Simpson, with a private bath in the hall. While it would be very tight for a couple, it was perfect for...

My fiancé and I stayed here in the Pendle cottage suite for a couple of nights and loved it! The place felt like a home. We had a nice king size bed on the upstairs level and a comfortable couch and fireplace downstairs with a kitchen. My fiancé really liked the garden and flower smell outside. Breakfast was served to...

we rented a group of rooms to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. Simpson House was even more pleasant and, dare I say, enchanting than the photos indicate. Great place to stay, great location and great people running it. I will visit again

We enjoyed the Simpson House so much that we might have set a record for the longest stay! Quite simply it's incredibly comfortable, private and friendly, and almost like staying with your favorite family members while living in comfort and style. Not to mention the incredible breakfasts and the amazing pre-dinner wine and appetizers.

Fantastic hotel, a total treasure within Santa Barbara, if you are visiting you MUST stay here!Beautifully restored from the 1800s with a traditional B&B feel and stunning grounds. Service was impeccable and all in the small details - from the morning quote attached to your daily newspaper, personalised breakfast menu (breakfast was great btw), evening wine tasting & hors d'oeuvres,...

Simpson House is more than a B&B. The staff is hospitable and considerate. The amenities -- snacks, happy hour, and especially the garden -- make it more than worthwhile. Rooms or suites are in both the main house and clustered around the garden. You can sit in the garden or in a more private space outside room or suite. Breakfast...

My wife and I spent three nights at the Simpson House Inn in Santa Barbara in February. The inn is wonderfully appointed, both in the guest rooms and the common areas. We stayed in the Parlor Room, which is on the main level of the main house, and features a king-sized bed, bath with marble vanity and a claw-foot tub,...

The Simpson House is a farm House and out buildings that have been converted to a lovely B&B. The gardens are interesting and maintained beautifully. We stayed in the Weathervane room which is the former hayloft of the barn. The room was sunny and spacious. We enjoyed using the fireplace in the room on a few nights that were a...
