We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in the Tack Room. We loved the fireplace and the private sitting area just outside. The Inn is well-maintained and clean. Our hosts delightful. The breakfasts were delicious as were the treats for the evening wine tasting.

Just got back from a few days in Santa Barbara, first time visiting the Simpson House which was recommended by a friend. Five stars does not do it justice, it is a delightful Inn lovey peaceful gardens, very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are charming and individual, very cottagey in feel - a real delight. Breakfasts are substantial, delicious...

Lovely little boutique hotel. Room was clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the courtyard and a cost gas fire. Service was attentive and extremely friendly. Location close to the main street in town.

Hotel has excellent location - very close to historical center, best restaurants, museum and the Mission. We stayed in Hayloft room which was pretty, comfortable and has great atmosphere. Hotel offers free parking space and very decent breakfast. Staff was nice and friendly. Recommended.

Wish there were 1/2 stars because this charming Inn was a 4 1/2 stars for this one night stay on March 30th. It is really a 5 star experience as memory tells me from our stay several years back in one of the cottages. This trip was just for one evening. We met friends from Central CA and had scheduled...

The beautiful and well kept grounds, nicely restored interior and hospitality make for a most pleasant and memorable visit. Floors are creaky and there's no elevator to upstairs rooms, but all adds to the charm of this historical house. Rooms have a 19th century feel, but are spacious and complete with most modern amenities. Breakfasts are what you might expect...

I stayed in the Hayloft room for 1 night and the room was beautiful and comfortable. I just wished the room was bigger. Nicole, the host was amazing. She went above what I expected and made my stay a pleasant stay. Now I regret only staying for only one night.

I am just back from a 4-night stay at the Simpson House wishing I could have stayed longer! Built in 1874, the inn has been lovingly restored and maintained since the 1990s. I had the smallest room, the Mary Simpson, with a private bath in the hall. While it would be very tight for a couple, it was perfect for...

My fiancé and I stayed here in the Pendle cottage suite for a couple of nights and loved it! The place felt like a home. We had a nice king size bed on the upstairs level and a comfortable couch and fireplace downstairs with a kitchen. My fiancé really liked the garden and flower smell outside. Breakfast was served to...

we rented a group of rooms to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. Simpson House was even more pleasant and, dare I say, enchanting than the photos indicate. Great place to stay, great location and great people running it. I will visit again
