Found this site on tripadvisor and extremely pleased. While I thought the price was on the high side, the Inn is very nice, clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast and property grounds. Over 2 different stay's within a 2 week period, I stayed in different rooms and different buildings. The rooms in the bungalow rooms are larger and quite comfortable. I...

This place seemed like a hidden gem. Just a short walk from the beach, it is perfectly placed for you to investigate what Santa Barbara has to offer. Both the place and the staff were very chilled out, making it a very easy place to relax.

Great Spanish charm. We have stayed here on our visits to Santa Barbara three times and we love it. The staff is wonderful and the inn is lovely. It is close to the ocean and to downtown. Right now, they are in the process of re-doing their kitchen and breakfast area. I look forward to our next visit.

EAGLE INN is really nice place; not perfect, but lovely. Great Staff and the location can't be beat. 2 blocks from Ocean and 3 blks from Amtrak station - I walked everywhere the 4 days I was there during New Year weekend... I will continue to use it as a 'getaway' from Atlanta. I walked the beach walk every morning.....

Thank you for your nice review of The Eagle Inn. Our staff tries really hard to be friendly and helpful. I'm glad you got to walk around the beach area so much. I love the salty air in the morning!

Friendly welcome. Room comfortable but rather small (cannot remember the room number) while our friends were lucky to get a larger room for the same price (better make sure you have room size confirmed when booking...). Breakfast was limited to 2 options but prepared with creativity and taste.

We stayed in a normal king room on the first floor. Pros: Easy walking distance to beach and State Street shops/restaurants. Really comfortable bed. Helpful front desk staff. Very clean. Cons: Breakfast was just OK each day; nothing special. Window faced the parking lot; no view (but it was still quiet)

Being so close to the main attractions; the beach, State Street, The Funk Zone makes everything walkable. I'm glad you guys had a chance to walk around and see the sights. Thank you for the tip about room size and location. Paul

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding in town. At first all the basic rooms were booked, which were out of our price range so I called to ask if there was anything they could do. After checking with the manager they called me back and let me know that they were able to...
