The Secret Garden is a unique place, very peaceful, beautiful and welcoming. Domeneque is a wonderful host, and brings a lot of unique French charm to this place. Our stay could not be more enjoyable! We would definitely come back! Thank you Domeneque!!

I stayed here while participating in a two day marathon, so I was unable to enjoy the wine and cheese offered in the afternoons, the breakfast in the mornings, or the brownies at night. But, my family did and they enjoyed every bite. I liked the quaint homey feel and loved the deep bath tubs which my sore achy muscles...

I don't know what other people expect from what is basically a B&B, but this is a great one! Main house available 24/7, but you stay in one of five sweet cottages in back, past a lovely paved garden and outdoor seating area with tables, like a restaurant. And boy do you get fed: wine, cheese, breads, and spreads in...

I am actually not sure how I ended up calling this fantastic B&B, but I am so glad I did...what a treat. I got to sleep in a relaxed mode that I have rarely ever experienced at any place away from home. The gentle kindness of the owner is a great interface and I really felt rested and at ease....

We only stayed here one night. Very odd set up, no tea/coffee facilities in room you had to go to the main house where hot water was left in jugs after 7pm, not brilliant, however, the owner also left homemade brownies which were delicious, a nice touch. Parking was easy, free WiFi. Only a 20 minute walk to downtown Santa...

Warm welcome by the young lady who received my husband and I. Explained in detail all that needed to be known. The room was very cosy and homely, fresh cookies baked at night for guests to help themselves. I wasn't too impressed with the fact that the Internet barely worked. And stopped working all together at night. Even though the...

Pleasant garden and front porch, but hazardous for elderly or visually impaired guests due to uneven brick walkways and too far to walk to the beach and shopping area. Breakfast is served during a small window, excluding or making it difficult for those who get up early or depart early. On the positive side, the owner provided tea and sweets...

7 cottages and a small main house with the very best full continental breakfast one could imagine. Crepes and quiche to die for. Very comfortable themed cottages 2 with hot tubs in a beautiful garden setting. Wonderful owner and hostess.

I had never stayed in a B&B before and I was glad that this was my first experience. The overall experience was like comfort food for the mind and spirit. I was a great escape from the city and it a place that I will always look up first when planning to visit SB again.

The Secret Garden Inn is a lovely place to stay in Santa Barbara! The owner is lovely and so helpful. The breakfast is excellent. It is situated just a short walk to State Street which has lots of bars and restaurants. Would certainly recommend!
