This is a great place to camp if you want to check out Santa Cruz on a budget. Campground has plenty of great hammock trees! It's proximity to town is convenient but a car or bike is needed to get around. Coin operated hot showers available. James was really kind and helpful.

Well when we found this place on Google I was so happy to find a campsite, we were driving for a long time and needed to eat and get rest. When we drove up to this place, I was so disappointed I almost just drove away. ( it looked like the campsite was in the front yard) I knocked on...

Last week was my 2nd time staying here. The first time, the campground was full and they offered to let me stay out in the front field. No problem! Met James (he stays out front also... awesome garden, nice dog, very friendly and helpful guy!). This time I got a space in the campground and it was like most any...

NO NO NO NO NO! This was probably the worst site I have ever stepped foot on. May God have mercy on any one's soul who decides to enter this abyss. The Old women working the registration desk couldn't top weazing among the smoke in the air and she hid her money under a place matt. Upon entering the campground,...

He provided information about the Santa Cruz area and gave directions to get to the bike path to reach the Boardwalk area. The ground was hard for putting stakes in, but this is due to conserving...

Place was well maintained and as a grandma who was camping with 9 year old grandson felt safe... Even left all of f our things there when we went to the boardwalk... There is...

James the host was very honest. The camping are was very rough. We drove in paid for three days. We were uncomfortable with the set up and accommodations. James was honest and gave back all of the money as we chose not to stay. Thanks for that! It does have great mountain bike riding and a Costco all within a...

To truly appreciate Bob's Pine Grove Campground, you must first understand exactly what it is. Bob's is an oasis in the smack dab middle of Santa Cruz. It is not a state park or national forest campground out in the middle of nowhere. As a traveling mountain biker who runs a guide service and destination in Pisgah Forest NC this...
