This was my first time visiting Santa Cruz and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was made all the better for my experience at the Hotel Paradox- everything about it was above and beyond my expectations. The staff were caring, knowledgeable and genuine, the restaurant (Solaire) had an innovative and seasonal menu (I can highly recommend the octopus starter and butterscotch pear...

We love the Autograph Collection Hotels and were really excited to stay at this one in Santa Cruz. Upon arrival you may think your at a remodeled mental institution/prison. The architecture is not at all what you would expect in a beach town. The lobby is beautiful with a giant slab of wood as the desk top, so were starting...

Dear Shannon S, Thanks for your review of your visit in July. We're happy to know you enjoyed dining in Solaire Restaurant, but are sorry to learn your accommodation was not to your satisfaction and that you encountered a maintenance issue in the room. We would have been only too pleased to find an alternate room for you, but we...

I can't think of a better place to stay in this area. The rooms are great and the facilities are wonderful - beautiful pool, great bar and restaurant and electric bike rentals on top of that! And the service is top notch as well. It's reasonably priced as well.

This hotel is centrally located and accessible to everything! I was here for a conference September 19-23. 2016. The staff was very friendly and professional. There was an issue with my T.V. when I checked in; the issue was resolved in less than 20 minutes. There are some great restaurants within driving distance; the hotel staff was so accommodating, they...

We spent a night here on a trip down the Cali coast, and had a great stay! It's fresh and modern, with a great pool, bar, and restaurant. The gym was decent and our room was great- our door let out right by the pool. If it had been busy that might have made it loud, but we were there...

Stayed here for a weekend and agree with previous reviews that it is layed out like a motel with outside corridors for room entrance. The jail is on the other side of the fence and the area has a lot of homeless. This hotel is upgraded inside and the staff is helpful. They have bikes available for guests. Best hotel...
