So I have to declare an interest here, I kinda fell for the Bayside Hotel, and Santa Monica. The hotel is not the most luxurious, not the most expensive and you won't even get breakfast but I thought it was just the job.
I sayed here for 1 brief night before my long flight home to Australia. I've stayed in Santa Monica in the past and really enjoyed Bayside. The location is excellent - 100 metres to the beach and a few blocks to the middle of town...More
We stayed for one night. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is under surveillance 24/7. The staff is friendly but cold. The parking is quite expensive so i suggest to park on the street. Just be aware of the schedule as some mornings...More
This is a very nice basic hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. The location is wonderful. You just walk out the door, cross the street, walk down a small slope and you are at the beach. It is not in the heart of the...More
I stayed for one night, and found the motel to be clean and well kept for it's age. The room I was assigned was second floor, enclosed balcony view. The room seemed to be recently renovated and had a beach theme decor. The bed was...More
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller
coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
