Did a great tour of the hotel. Looks pretty nice from the outside, great amenities and you just cannot go wrong with the location. I am sure its super expensive and everything is over the top priced. The proximity to the beach and the pier...More
I planned a business meeting for a group of 14 people, and I found the service to be greatly lacking in the planning stages up to the time of arrival for our event. Replies to my requests were not timely or short on information. During...More
I spend 4 days with my teenage daughter in April. What an absolutely fantastic and charming hotel with a super friendly staff. The decor in the fun restaurant and the rooms are amazing and the food is great. I am coming back.

The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller

Yes, there are several restaurants an easy to find mostly up near 3rd street. I would walk North to the pier. Nice pleasurable walk wide sidewalk on beach, but be aware of bicycles on the path. Some riders peddle rather fast. With lots of people around during daylight hours not a problem but use caution during the darkness. Lighting is adequate in evening hours but there are also many transient people looking for opportunities.
