When you simply need a break away from stuff you go to Solvang California. Currently in the Jacuzzi finally named human soup. It's hot and awesome. Make sure to hit Paulas pancakes. And take a walk in the evening because it's gorgeous.

We have been staying at various places in Solvang each March for over 28 years. This was our first stay at the Hadsten House, and we were not disappointed. The property had been renovated during the past few years, and has since been well maintained. The staff were all very hospitable and helpful, the room was nicely decorated and clean,...

Our party of 6 had a great dinner here. Everyone enjoyed the entrées selected & the service was excellent. Salmon, scallops, chicken parmigian, sea bass & lobster bisque all recommended. No room for dessert.

Love this place! We have stayed here twice and will be back. They offer a full hot breakfast which probably would cost you about 15 per person in town. Only thing missing is some Danishes, LOL. The hot tub is big enough to do some exercises and work off the sweets you'll get at the local bakeries!

The rooms are clean and nicely designed. Hubbie and I both noticed that bed was comfy, but sheets were stiff and scratchy. Space for clothes is a bit cramped, but that leaves room for the lovely fireplace. Staff were generally very friendly.

Stayed here for a recent business trip. I have stayed in Solvang before. What I like about this hotel is that it is not right in the middle of the town. However, from the hotel, the walk to local places, eateries, and breweries is very leisurely. I had a corner suite above the spa, with a separate living area, bedroom,...

The property is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The room is nice, the beds are comfortable with soft duvets but hard pillows, well-designed bathroom. The included breakfast has delicious (not the standard dry lumpy) scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, cereals, etc., service is cheerful and helpful. The negatives are poor WiFi reception, nowhere to put suitcases in a...

We usually stay at this property's other two sister hotels-The Chumash Resort or the Hotel Corque. But we decided to give the Hadsten House a try because they offered a free breakfast and also because they had an indoor pool. With all of the rain lately we thought it was a safe option because we love to swim and soak...It...

My husband, seven year old daughter and I stayed here last summer for 3 nights. I didn't write a review right away because I wanted to forget about the horrible experience I had with management. The outside of the hotel looks misleading, kind of like it would have motel feel, but inside felt more like a hotel with nicer amenities....

The owners have done a lovely job converting what was once an ordinary motel into a charming inn. Lovely furnishings, cozy decor. My only complaint is the noise from the highway. We had asked for a room away from it but our room was only 3-4 doors away from the highway. The noise was continual, even at night. I would...
