My husband wisked me away for our anniversary but we didn't want to go too far or spend too much. After ready so many great reviews about this place he booked a room and a massage for me. I was amazed by the small details in the place that really make the experience the best hotel experience I have ever...

Hadsten House is a great place. The rooms are very cute and roomy. The pool and jacuzzi are great. The breakfast is pretty good and hearty. The only negative is the front desk ladies, they were indifferent. Did not get a smile or a warm greeting. Did not make us feel welcome and were very short with answers, felt like...

The Hadsten House doesn't have as much "curb appeal" as other Solvang hotels, but the room was really nice, the bed was great, it was quiet, and the free breakfast was excellent (bacon and all). It was a pleasant surprise on our trip.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Hadsten House. It's a great value, beautifully furnished room, and very spacious. The wine tasting list was great. We loved the location for walking around town. The first day we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, but the second day we walked to Paula's Pancakes and found it a treat. We'll be back!

From the outside, this looks like an ordinary hotel. We were very surprised to find that behind the doors this was much nicer than expected. Rooms are up to date and comfortable. We had a basic room with 2 queen beds. I loved the beds and pillows! No problems with noise or anything that disturbed our sleep. Outdoor whirlpool was clean...

It's like a reverse facelift - trying to fix the face with bad bone structure but doing a great of a job as possible with what's there already. Yes, this was a Vagabond in. Yes, it's history haunts it. BUT -- oh, what a treasure it is when you try to see beyond the defects. The front desk area already...

Get past the exterior, which reflects its history as a motel; this is a gem. The rooms, while small, are beautifully decorated and the beds are resort quality beds. The welcome is friendly and there are many extras, such as a wine/beer reception with great snacks and a delicious cooked breakfast, including eggs, bacon, biscuits, danish pastry, fresh fruit and...
