After a long day of weaving through wine country, we landed on El Dorado kitchen for dinner. We had noticed it the night prior while dining across the street at the more well known "the girl & the fig." From the street, it looks very unsuspecting and due to the layout, not much activity can be seen. However, that is...

Had a nice dinner. Good food but pricy Friendly staff. Be sure to get the truffle fries as they were unreal. Fun bar.

We loved the location being in the square. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.. Very convenient that there was a coffee and pastry shop in the hotel as well as the Kitchen. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

My two daughters and I stayed here on our first trip to wine country. The location was perfect for novices --- could walk everywhere. However, the hotel doesn't match the rate - the rooms are small, unimpressive; although they offer free wireless, it is undependable --- was never able to use it reliably during our stay. Hotel staff were friendly...

I won't go into all the details of the situation that I had because it would take to long the issue at hand is a mistake in the restaurant and instead of the manager trying to help resolve the situation they took the servers side and dismissed me ($150 meal for two) When I called the General Manager the next...

I stayed at the El Dorado hotel for a friend's wedding a few weeks ago and it was completely pleasant. I had a great room - one that faced the square and had a large balcony/porch on the second floor. The room was small but delightful. It was clean, fresh, and had authentic terracotta tile floors which I loved. The...

Four of us dropped by for a late lunch/early dinner at 4 pm. We were seated at a table with one printed menu on it, no additional were offered. The waiter was unable to answer questions about menu items. A member of our party was excited to see Pliny the Elder on tap which he had been told good things...

The location of this hotel is great - right on the square in the center of Sonoma! Within walking distance of everything in the square. It's an older place but with current updates. Convenient little parking lot in the back worked well for us. Clean rooms, nice shower, balcony, and comfortable bed. 4 of us requested wakeup calls, and none...

We just ate here, but had the most perfectly cooked salmon I've ever had. I even ate the skin which i don't normally do, but it was cripsy, perfecty salted and just the hint of the underlying unctuous salmon fat. Also the Mexican Pot du Creme was fabulous!! Our best dinner in wine country.

Love this hotel, can't beat the location and the common areas are beautiful. Restaurant EDK is exceptional! Rooms are not luxurious but are very pleasant, most importantly there is a comfortable bed and pillows and the hotel is smart enough to give you a radio with nature sounds to help drown out the noises you will hear from (1) the...
