Arrived with my family at 7pm for reserved room. Was told that they rented it to someone else but could put the kids on the floor and have a room with single King. Room said non-smoking, but it reaked of smoke. Could not turn around in the room, not sure where on the floor kids could sleep. The place is a dump! Give this place a pass and go 10 minutes down the road to Columbia Inn.

Booked this stay very last minute and we were very lucky to get a room. This room was perfect for the rate and what I expected from the lodge. The room was old but it was as clean as it possibly could be and the check in and check out process was super easy. Also booked the stay due to the proximity to downtown Sonora and it was only a 5 to 6 minute walk to the main street. It isn't far from a casino and short drive to the ski slopes. Don't expect much and appreciate it for what it is and you will enjoy your stay. There was plenty of hot water in the shower!

Electricity comes on or goes off at random. Furniture is Salvation Army rejects. Table won't even hold up a dinner plate. Floors are falling apart. AC is hanging loosely in the wall. Toilet runs constantly. Bath mat was stolen from Holiday Inn ! Door locks don't really work, Bathroom window is NOT lockable and if opened is just an open hole to the back yard! Electric outlets have failed so every appliance including the frig is plugged into a ONE power strip! SO called table lamp between the beds is falling apart, loose and wobbly and only works occasionally.Staff is NON existent! Lobby is so smokey I choked! Breakfast is one dry cereal, milk, OJ, coffee and old stake cookies! Worst coffee on earth! STAY here at your own risk. SO far, none of us are sick. Oh, the "suite" is just one room with two queen beds. Definitely NOT a suite!

Booked this room last minute to see a concert at nearby Black Oak Casino. Buddy & I figured "all we're gonna do is sleep there, so wtf." The only positive was that the sheets & bathroom were clean. Room had slight musty/mold smell. Two beds yet only one set of towels so I had to go get a second set. When in office I noticed the breakfast area. Uh, one small coffee pot. I also could see in the back the commercial laundry machines. Bed was horrible. Super spongy soft and it sagged. I didn't dare sit on the couch as it looked old and in same condition as bed. And the place was super expensive IMO. Granted, it was Labor Day weekend, and a concert night, but it totaled over $160 for a two bed room.

This hotel has been known for junkies staying. So, I hope that alone make sure you don't stay here. There was puke on the curtain and the walls. The beds were gross and hard. The A/C/heater was noisy as heck. There were shards of broken glass by the bed. The toilet wouldn't flush. There were dead bugs on the ceiling. When we requested our money, the lady only gave us half and then pocketed the other half. Just go to the Sonora Inn, it's cheaper and clean.
