Pat, our hostess, made us so comfortable that it felt like we were family. Except that we didn't have to do the dishes after breakfast. The living room invites relaxation and conversation with the other guests. The wine, cheese and cookies fuel the conversation. Chillin on the front porch is so comfortable and pleasant that one could forget that there...

I stay at the AV Inn a few times each year to escape the hustle and bustle of life. I recently returned from a 2 night stay and as usual, every aspect of my experience was first-rate. As other reviewers have commented, each of the rooms is lovely and the setting is super relaxing. It was fun mingling with the...

Unlike many luxury B&B's that advertise a jetted soaking tub for two these days, our tub at Arroyo Vista really was big enough for two to relax in comfort and deep enough to be immersed in warmth. The rooms were very clean and tidy and there was plenty of comfortable quiet space in the common room. We enjoyed sitting by...

Our 2-day visit was wonderful: exquisite accommodation, both the room and view of the mountains, gourmet breakfast, easy access to Pasadena and Los Angeles, and friendly and helpful innkeeper and staff. We look forward to our next stay.

This place is wonderful. We got a peek in most of the rooms, all of which are beautiful. We stayed in the Daybreak Terrace Room which is lovely with an amazing bathroom. Pat's cooked breakfast was wonderful, as were her homemade cookies. It's very relaxed however not chill with your feet on the furniture. And beautifully renovated. We will stay...

My honey and I spent the weekend at Arroyo Vista Inn in South Pasadena and had a great time. Our room was lovely, the inn is beautiful and Pat is an excellent hostess. The food was YUM (the available-at-all-times muffins really rocked -- check out the recipe on their blog) and Pat even put bottle of champagne and sparkling apple...

We loved every minute of our stay at AVI, beautiful home and great accomodations; don't even get me started with the breaksfast (Saturday morning) so fresh and delicious that yes I ate every little bit of it; excellent coffee and muffins too along with fresh fruit served right before the main dish. We are already talking about a return visit...

This is our omteen stay at AVI. This time we also brought our 70# puppy and stayed at one of the pet friendly rooms. I was amazed how fresh the room felt and how clean the carpet was. We brought the puppy's bed so he was happy staying in the room while we had the delicious breakfast made by different...

My wife & I wanted to spend our Anniversary in Pasadena but were surprised that there were no B&Bs in Pasadena proper. The Arroyo Vista in South Pas was an excellent choice. The Inn is a beautiful old home with great updated rooms & wonderful views of Pasadena. The owners were friendly & helpfull and the breakfasts were super. You...

Lovely spot set high up off a main road. Comfortable room and very spacious public areas and porches. The breakfasts in the large breakfast room were very delicious. Convenient for visits to So Pas or Pasadena.
