Discovered the Inn on Summerhill while exploring lodging options online. Elected to give this place a try based on the size, location, and price point. We were very happy with our choice.
We selected a king room, which was a nice, comfortable size. The bed...More

Looks better then it is. The hotel is very cute, but the rooms need updating, especially the bathrooms.

I've stayed a couple times--both on balcony rooms overlooking ocean with most freeway noise. I haven't found it to be a problem, but then I don't have expectations of intense quietude. I'd spend the weekend in the country if that were my goal. I prefer this part of town as it's very charming, quaint and close to the ocean. It's also very close to SB and Montecito (5-10 minutes). I think the price is great for the quality. It feels much more intimate and personal than larger hotels like the Montecito Inn or otherwise.
