Had a very nice stay at the Hanford House. My room was minimally, but uniquely, furnished in soothing colors and using vintage doors as headboards and closet space. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed the rain shower in the bathroom. Nice toiletries were provided, as well as a delicious breakfast in the Element Restaurant downstairs. The Inn is...

We were staying in Cottage Room 4. The hot tub on the terrace was a big plus and it was really great to be able to use it in the winter! The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was very big as well. It was lovely to have a fireplace in the room too. I would...

This place is certainly convenient, walk to tasting rooms and the quaint main street. Central to wineries in the area. Clean and cozy describes it. Breakfast at Element 61 is included which is a treat in itself. The only complaint are the paper thin walls and ceilings. Awakened both nights by late arriving neighbors, floors are hardwood so no buffer...

This is a beautiful, small Inn. The accommodations were wonderful! Warm delicious scones delivered outside our room in the morning. The inn has had a very well done renovation recently. The staff was welcoming and very helpful! Element breakfast was simply amazing. The owners heart and soul have gone into this hotel and it shows. Highly recommend a visit!

This small inn is perfect if you're exploring the HGW 49. It's a very comfortable and clean place, the staff is very kind. The breakfast is wonderful. Everyday we had scones delivered to our room in the morning ( I miss them so much), It was such a pleasure open the door in the morning and find them there!!!

Set in Sutter Creek is this gem of a B&B. Beautifully appointed rooms, rustic chic. Very comfortable beds. Amazing breakfast at the attached restaurant. Lots of great wine tasting, shopping and food choices. There's a salon next door for spa services. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay here. We were in cottage 4, which included its own deck with a 2 person hottub. Perfect for winding down after a day of wine tasting and antique shopping. It's a little on the pricey side but the service was excellent and the complimentary breakfast at the restaurant, Elements, was amazing. Best eggs benedict I...

Will echo the reviews of others - a really nice place to lay your head. Delicious breakfasts in the Element61 restaurant, a convivial wine hour, friendly hosts, large modern rooms with period pieces from the original building, excellent location, great beds.......a great base for exploring Amador County. A perfect bnb without the stereotypical fussiness of so many places. We hope...

On a previous stay in Sutter Creek, we had breakfast at Elements - the Hanford House Inn's restaurant and loved it. After eating we walked around the grounds and figured we would stay there the next time we were in the neighborhood. That was this past week - two perfect nights in a very clean, cool room that was perfect...
