We attended a wedding at the resort in October and it was sooo lovely! The location was excellent! The wedding was on the deck with the lake in the background. It was so beautiful! We stayed at the resort and our room was spacious and...More
7/30/17- Great location with a beautiful view of the lake. Outdoor seating with great food and great service. We visited on a Sunday night but it was still crowded. Make sure you make a reservation. The area is beautiful to walk around.

The beaches consist of a bit of sand into the rocks & the water is mostly VERY cold, as it is an alpine lake. Resort located right on the water with a dock for the boats use in summertime. Depending upon the time of year, you could easily need a full wet suit (winter!) or at least a vest/jacket other times of the year. This is not warm water....There are some nice beaches in the town of Tahoe City (Commons Beach) as well as beaches located at state parks, too.
