We booked this inn for an overnight stay, it was situated on the Main Street and easy to find. We had been given a code for entry and our key was left on the desk, no one to welcome or show us to the room - very much do it yourself! We thought the price included a continental breakfast but...

Convenient location in quiet small town on road to Pt. Reynes. The front desk was unattended and four sets of key were left in envelopes with guests names. Front door was open all day. I guess this is ok in a small town with no security issues. Our room was large and comfortable. But there were problems with noise from...

The Inn has recently undergone some changes. There are ten rooms with wifi included in the nightly rate. On the weekends ONLY, you may partake of a serve yourself continental breakfast. There are plenty of pillows and blankets in the room, but the hot water is sparse. The bathrooms are small and a bit outdated. There was no maid service...

thank you for your review, normally we always refresh the rooms. so I do apologize and I will certainly try to find out why your room was missed. Hot water - you do have to let it run before it gets hot but we have never had hot water run out or be limited, and on the 13th and 14th...

We went to this hotel for our 28th anniversary, and it was just lovely. We wanted to stay in Point Reyes, but it seemed there was nothing available so we booked here. We were so pleasantly surprised by the quaintness of the place, and the woman who greeted us took us up to our room and gave us a complete...

This is definitely the most unique places that I've ever stayed at. I was greeted by the only person that was working there, and she gave me a tour around my room. The rooms come with a "The Continental Inn" binder, providing information about the hotel, it's history, and nearby restaurants, including those in neighboring towns. The hotel is also...

This is a very quaint hotel (bed and breakfast). Here are the pros and cons: Pros: central location: Close to Bodega Bay, Dillon Beach and Point Reyes. Quaint hotel : turn of the century with modern baths Cons: No one was there to greet you when you arrive. You are supposed to get an access code to the front door...

I've consistently had great visits here for five years now. The cozy room with the little kitchen and fireplace feels like home. Wonderful bed, large bath with great hot water, everything you need. Yummy continental breakfast, friendly and accommodating hosts who never feel obtrusive. You get they keys and make yourself at home. I love how it's so close to...

The continental hotel is a great reproduction of a Victorian hotel. We stayed in room 7 (Lords and Ladies) and were pleased with the room in terms of the size, cleanliness and the antique furniture. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep thinking of the old west. There was a basic continental breakfast provided (only...

I've been coming (mostly for business) to this area for 10 years, but this time was my first stay in Tomales. Discovered the Continental Inn by accident and will definitely return. Not inexpensive, but worth the price. Large rooms in a renovated property on the site of an 1860'ish hotel. Recommend rooms at the back of the hotel, away from...

Stopped in on a whim while traveling Highway 1. Very friendly check in. Cozy room with all the amenities. Lots of character. Plenty of hot water. Eat across the street at the deli. Excellent sandwiches and open early for breakfast.
