Cabins are very clean and well stocked. Coffeemaker, microwave toaster and a very small fridge. We stayed in a pet allowed room and it was perfect for our needs Bathroom had a shower and good water pressure. Mattress was very comfortable and a smart TV to use if you have your own streaming service. There is NO cable or satellite. Nice lighting to read a book Can’t wait to visit again 10/10 Thanks

We enjoyed our one night stay with our pup in this beautiful cozy cabin amidst the majestic trees. Our stay was late December so it was very rainy but our cabin could not have been more comfortable, spotless and beautifully appointed. The bathroom is well done including a very nice shower. We loved the heated slate floors throughout. There is a little kitchenette with a large Keurig and cute “forest” mugs. It is a quick drive into “downtown” Trinidad and we enjoyed dinner at the Trinidad Bay Eatery and breakfast at the Beachcomber.

As always, I enjoy my stay at Emerald Cabins every time I go to Northern California. The people at the front office are always willing to assist you with any issue you may have. The little town of Trinidad has everything you need, from Restaurants to your local Market.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Emerald Forest cabins. Great location to see the Redwoods. Cabin was newly renovated and super clean. Staff at the office were really helpful throughout our stay.

Little Cabin in the Woods! Clean and cozy. Great service but the setting was really the highlight! Perfect shower with good height and strong water pressure. Huge kitchen sink. Fluffy clean white towels in bathroom. Kitchen is pretty bare bones so bring your paper goods to supplement their place settings. Would totally book again!! Note: current trail info is best obtained from park visitor centers. Front desk is helpful but weather and conditions can be tricky.

Picture perfect. Ideally located for Redwood hunting! You're practically sleeping in one! From the time we pulled up to the park office, we were in love with Emerald Forest. Wonderous trees, tranquility, peaceful. Office staff was always friendly and helpful. Our CABIN was clean, cozy. But the CAMP SITES were really awesome. So spacious, on a bed of pine needles in a quiet dark corner of the park; made me want to give up my cabin and pitch a tent! Emerald Forest is the place to stay.

Lovely, spotless, well-equipped little cabins, nestled in among the redwoods. Was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely consider returning if travels take us up to this neck of the woods again.

Loved the cabin and loved the location! Staying amongst the large trees and close to the parks was perfect. And Trinidad was such a cute town. Would definitely stay here again if in the area and we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My husband and I Stayed in cabin B. It was a surprise trip to the Redwood forest. I’m a retired children’s librarian and it reminded me of little red riding hood grandmas house. Everything worked and everyone was so nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also go into Trinidad and get coffee/breakfast from the beachcomber and definitely eat dinner at the Eatery after a long day of hiking. It’s a beach town with amazing sunsets and wonderful views as well as kind people. 😊💗💗💗
