It's the Ritz. It's everything one looks for at the Ritz. The service is superior; the staff are exceptional. The hotel itself is gorgeous upon arrival but take note that in the winter you do need a 4-wheel drive to get up it's 2-mile Highland road. The property is adjacent to Northstar Village and provides a ski-in ski-out lodging experience....

If you want elegance, pampering and impeccable personal service in North Lake Tahoe then nothing's better than this amazing resort hotel built on the slopes of the Northstar ski resort. Everyone who works here seems to magically know your name, including the housekeeping staff, and treats you with the utmost courtesy, helpfulness and respect. I know from my work that...

My husband and I had not yet been to the relatively new Ritz at Northstar so decided to have a look. It's fabulous! We ended up at the pool bar/ restaurant and turns out it was "locals Monday" with all food and drinks half off! We had the cheese and cured meat platter, pizza, hamburger and local draft beer. Our...

This is one of those picture perfect places you see in magazines. The architecture is beautiful inside and out. It's located right the North Star ski runs, you literally ski out from the patio. A little pricey, but you won't regret your stay!

Stayed here for a wedding back in mid October. One of the best resorts in Lake Tahoe. We stayed in a 1 BR suite and we didn't want to leave - modern gym, great pool and spa area and Manzanita restaurant was top notch. I tried to download the mobile app but couldn't log in (guess I can't log in...

Decided to take a weekend break at the nearby Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe. A quick 90 mile drive placed us at the hotel which is located in the middle of the Northstar complex a few miles from Lake Tahoe. The complex is mammoth and beautifully appointed with an eye towards the ski crowd to which they cater in the winter...

My husband & I recently spent 3 nights at this hotel. There are so many amenities and not enough time to enjoy them. Our king size bedroom was very spacious, beautifully appointed with a cozy fireplace. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was huge! We appreciated the room safe and 2 large closets. The staff was friendly and gave...

The rooms are beautifully appointed with wonderful linens and a fireplace. The food and service were excellent. Using the gondola made travel between the village and the resort seamless. I am looking forward to returning soon!

I've stayed at quite a few Ritz Carltons lately and this one was pleasantly surprising in how well it executes. The building is beautiful and feels new- no noticeable wear and tear. The staff is really good at their jobs-- very friendly and pampering, particularly Patrick the bartender was a standout. I went on an off-day/off-season when the hotel was...
