This is a beautiful lodge right on the shore of Donner Lake. An expansive deck is a great place to sit quietly and enjoy the view, have a glass of wine, or barbecue. Mike was a great host. We arrived late, and he called to let us know that our room was ready and unlocked for us. When he got...

Perfect location for exploring Donner area. Mike had plenty of helpful information for us about the area. He made reservations for us at Cottonwood - a great place for dinner. We had a minor problem with our room and Mike made it right by adjusting the bill. Would definitely stay here again. Hope I get to stay here again.

We came up for a lacrosse tournament and loved being on the lake, near the State Park, close to good food and the main areas of town. The rooms were quaint, clean and nice. You say small I say snug...and lovely. I am glad we did not stay in town because this had a beautiful view and nice staff.

My wife and I spent our anniversary here. (Mid May) We have been looking at this location for years and finally decided to give it a try. We could not have been happier. We got a suite on the second floor and were very pleased with the room. It was cozy and warm and very comfortable. The fireplace heater was...

A large beautiful deck with BBQ and lounging furniture plus a hot tub , The rooms all have access to the deck and if you have a boat, they allow tie ups. The room had a mini kitchen with cooking, equip and for those that drink coffee, they supply a regular coffee maker and fresh ground coffee. Very comfortable queen...

Thank you for the kind words! We are so pleased that you enjoyed the deck and all that it has to offer. As it gets warmer you will see guests using the putting green, as well as the boat dock along with the complimentary row boat. We are proud to offer all of the amenities of a full kitchen along...

We had the least expensive room, rather small, which is right on the large sunny deck overlooking the beautiful lake. As this rustic, older lodge is on a frequently traveled street, I thought we would hear auto noise but none could be heard. Even if you are there in the day, what you hear, besides occasional feet clomping upstairs, is...

Stayed here last year in September during a Tough Mudder weekend in Tahoe. The room we got is very small. The ceilings are low and walls are a bit thin. It was hard not to listen to a couple "doing their business" early one morning. The location is nice. It is within a few minutes drive to downtown Truckee where...
