Simple room, clean and warm. Let's be honest : Porterville is a good place to spend a night when road triping. We decided to stop there when travelling from Sequoia National Forest to the sierra Nevada in late fall while most of the roads are closed in the Yosemite. We used to camp, but this night the temperature reached the...

The young ladies on the front desk are lovely - helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. The telephone did not work, but staff came immediately to put it right. When it came time to shower at night, we discovered we only had one facecloth, one hand towel and a bathmat. A call to the front desk had...

So I was assured by locals. There is not much to add; this was a typical Motel 6 experience, plain and clean and inexpensive, a refuge on a rainy Sunday night in March. I was momentarily surprised by the showerhead that was mounted at the front of the enclosure and directed the water spray (well, more of a mist) toward...

We all know that Motel 6 ain't the Four Seasons. Some are better than others in many respects, such as the one in Barstow, CA, which sports the BEST staff I have ever encountered. This staff here could learn much from those Barstow folks. When I entered to check in, Brenda stayed seated, asking me something which was unintelligible as...

I have stayed at nicer motels in the area but clean room, clean bathroom clean towels that will scrape your skin raw, but no better value for the money. Great bed, got a great nights sleep. Maybe my standards are low, but for a place to sleep the night I could not ask for more for the low cost.

Used this motel as it was half way to our destination and we needed a cheap place to sleep for one night. What I consider typical Motel 6. Had been recently renovated. spartan room with no amenities but the beds were fine. Only serious complaint I had was when I tried to log on to the advertised WIFI the screen...

Cheap place to stay. Hotel has been redone and the suites are nice. Floors are now wood and the beds are new. The area isn't great but it's no different than all the other hotels in the same area. All the hotels are within 1 block of that exit. Pretty quiet. A.c. worked fine. Just needed a place to stop...

This room was tiny, and dirty, and didn't even have the basic amenities. We even had to pay $2.99 extra for basic internet. The T.V was an old, small CRT with a poor picture. The shower was a round, stand-up affair, with a curtain around it. If you had to bend over for the soap, or to clean your foot,...
