This was our best B&B experience so far. If we stay in another B&B now, we always compare with this B&B. The room and house is very cosy and breakfast is great. The owners are doing everything to make you feel welcome. They are so nice! Tip: we had a long journey ahead after our stay here so we ordered...

Thank you for your complimentary review. The Waggon and Horses opposite has links with Charles Dickens book Pickwick Paper. Not all of us a crazy drivers though I do take the point about crossing the road....the whole village would agree. Wiltshire Council, take note!

So glad you enjoyed your stay. At the time we had two other spaniels as well as our own staying....they all behaved themselves and we were sad to see them go (my sisters dogs staying whilst she was on holiday). Hank you for your wonderful review

A lovely little B&B in the beautiful undulating Wiltshire landscape. Spotlessly clean; very welcoming; excellent breakfast (they cater for gluten-free diets too). Very homely. It's quite close to the A4 but unless you go and sit in the garden, you aren't really aware of it. The Waggon & Horses food pub is just across the road, so highly convenient.

Arriving in Avebury a little jet-lagged, we came upon a very nice Argentenian couple who had good things to say about this B & B, and we "followed them home". Fortunately, there were two rooms available. Simon and Kate were most welcoming and accommodating, the facility comfortable and spotless, and the bespoke breakfast just what we needed to begin our...

Everything you want from a B&B. Delightful cottage, interesting and welcoming hosts, comfortable bed, great shower and delicious breakfast. Avebury is a pleasant walk away and staying here is much better value. Pub across the way does good meals. We were at the beginning of a week's walk along the Ridgeway path and appreciated being dropped off at a safe...

Thank you for the wonderful review. We always give guests a lift to the start of their walk (within two miles) as it is so much safer especially for the Ridgeway National Trail.
