Our room was really nicely done, great paint choices and minimal, but practical furnishings. Dinner at Rocky Oysterfellers was fantastic. The bar was packed, and the bartender seemed quite overwhelmed, but when the drinks arrived they were good. We will be back.

The Valley Ford Hotel has been an inn and restaurant since 1864. It is in a tiny town in the rolling hills of rural Marin. The owners were friendly and accommodating, even getting us a safe place for our 4 bicycles. It is absolutely quiet at night.....you could have been backpacking. Bodega Bay is not too far if you need...

We rented out five rooms out of the seven here to stay with friends for the weekend. First off, there is a continental breakfast on Sat and Sunday which consists of hard boiled eggs, granola, yogurt, scones and OJ. They have a coffee machine and bottled water as well. The restaurant is hugely popular and make a reservation on the...

Stayed just one night, but could have enjoyed a three day weekend if time allowed. One of my favorites during a 30 day mc trip. Check in was quirky - envelope with the key on a bench, but the room was cozy and quiet. Bar was crowded with locals and energetic. The ladies working the restaurant and bar are just...

We wanted to get away for just one night and were able to book a room when other places in the area were either out of our price range or would only book customers if they could stay at least two nights. The room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable and we were surprised with a very nice...

We took our pet with us and stayed in Room 1 (which is pet friendly). Our envelope was waiting for us on the porch when we arrived but we never met anyone at the hotel. Since we were there on a Monday (they don't serve anything) we can't say anything about their restaurant service, etc. Our room was very clean,...

We love this place so much we got married here! The beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and they know how to throw a heck of a wedding! It really feels like an escape from the real world, and we go back as often as we can.

What an amazing place! We have had great food, drinks and good company by locals and others visiting from beyond at this adorable little hotel and restaurant. Enjoying our stay and will come back!! Rooms are nice, clean and love the continental breakfast greeting you in the morning. Nice location as it is close to beach.

The Valley Ford Hotel sits atop of Rocker Oysterfellers (best food around). This hotel is so quaint and romantic, it's ideal for a long weekend get-away! The decor is done with very tasteful and unique antiques, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are perfect for two people (you'll get a fridge) and the breakfast, oh the breakfast! You get a...

This hotel is clean and comfy! Super cute in a small town. Friendly staff, fair prices. Great restaurant right next door. Come here to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. You are a short drive from some great beaches on the coast. Definitely a country inn. Store across the street but not a lot of options in town...
