Went today for a belated birthday meal, and we were not disappointed. Food and service were both excellent. My husband and son would highly recommend The Mounthamilton if you want a good steak. The rest of us had varying chicken dishes which were also very tasty. Have visited here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed.

Ate after 5 o'clock . Beautiful meal, great selection to choose from on the menu. Quirky, old style decorating which isn't quite finished in an area close to the facilities . Not sure how wheelchair friendly this place is. I was only in one part plus ladies and it is a little small for a wheelchair to move Easily. You... More

Breakfast was delicious with large portion sizes, had decaffeinated coffee on request and the dining room was beautiful. Good quality sausage and bacon. Our room was clean and warm but the bed was a bit squeaky. They would benefit from up dating their beds as it would have added an extra star to this review. We loved the up stairs... More

Coffee and scones only. Coffee, courtesy of Robert Roberts, very, very good. Good selection of scones, plain, cherry, and fruit. Roaring fire a great attraction on a chilly day. Easily accessed from main Frocess Road which is currently being upgraded to dual carriageway.

We were travelling from Portstewart to Belfast and decided to call into Drumadoon for a meal. We arrived at 6.25. The very nice lady on duty took us to a table in the dining room. There were about 16 people already in. We were offered a drink and ordered our meals: both quite basic; one plaice and one gammon. We... More

Don't let the road works put you off folks, its def worth the sacrifice. So if your ever passing through, please call in and give this... More

I love the Drumadoon and go there maybe four times per year. Members of my family also go very frequently. The last time I was there in October I had the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup - absolutely delicious. Every time I drive past the Drumadoon my mouth waters now. The whole experience is just lovely. There is plenty of... More

8 of us enjoyed an excellent easter Sunday meal here. We were lucky to be sat near to the lovely coal fire which was a much added extra on such a cold wet day. There was an varied choice to meet all tastes all of which were reasonably priced. We all ate from the Sunday Lunch menu enjoying roast beef... More

Visited the restaurant today with my elderly mother. I don't drink tea or coffee so I asked for a pot of hot water . When I went to the till to pay I noticed that there was £1 charge on the bill for water and I queried this with the Manager/ Owner as I seriously thought it was a mistake.... More
