I was desperate to change out of my hospedaje and this hotel offered me a real good price for a single room with attached bathroom and breakfast. The hotel is very quiet and spacious, rooms were equipped with fan and tv. The individual verandas of the cabin-like rooms all had their own hammock.

It was dark and we randomly got off the bus and found this place. There were 4 of us and we stayed in a room with 3 beds. They gave us an extra fan and towel. They gave us a lot of directions for the buses, where things were, etc. Very helpful. Breakfast was decent and inexpensive. I recommend. They...

The staff here are like untrained sheep. Absolutely pathetic, like hiring a blind man to fly a plane. Stayed here 4 night and the main guy in the bar takes a minimum of 50 minutes to do the most basic tasks. He will also stand and fiddle with POINTLESS paperwork when he has 4 customers eager to buy a cold...

Ones choices of lodging are limited in Altagracia. This hotel is right on a main street corner and easy to find. Very little english is spoken by the staff. Wifi seemed to be good. They do rent bicycles but they are not in very good shape. A couple staying in the little cabin next to mine said the owner had...

My mother, my boyfriend and I went to Ometepe and for some reason decided to go to Altagracia. We read something about La Penita and based on some TripAdvisor reviews decided to go there... this was 3KM out of town and looked terrible, so we went to 'downtown' Altagracia instead and checked what we could find. We were glad we...

If you are a traveler like me looking for a clean room this is the place for you. Altagracia is not a scenic spot but there is scenery just short distances away in every direction. This hotel is a 1/3 of what other hotel rooms cost on the island for a comparable room. Clean with a courteous staff. A good...

Friends who travelled here numerous times suggested this place so I telephoned and made a reservation explained I was arriving on the late boat from San Carlos. So when I arrived at 1am I was very disappointed to have the owner meet me on the sidewalk saying there was no room. He agreed I had made a reservation but still...

A great place to stay. It's clean and cosy nice garden, great staff with multiple language skills, excellent cook and a good mix of local people and tourist. They have a good guide if you want to hike up the volcano (must go to the top if you are feeling fit, nevermind the clouds and the rain).

We arrived after taking the ferry direct from Granada to Altagracia. We settled for one of the cabins out back. Basic but with private bath. We had a delicious chicken dinner and a couple of cervesas at their restaraunt with a lovely Spanish couple we met on the ferry. Complementary breakfast was a Nica breakfast or fruit plate with good...
