Easy to find, easy access. Great pull throughs for large trailers. It is clean, the staff is knowledgeable, and kind. If you are bringing children, it's great for children as there are lots of outside play equipment and a game room, that had a pool table, shuffle board, ping ping table and other gaming items. They also have a nice...

We were traveling from the Grand Canyon to San Diego and decided to stop at the Barstow Calico KOA for the night. A very good surprise. We came without much expectations but our site was very clean and all the hookups were working perfectly. Very friendly staff. I recommend to other travelers. WiFi was very good!

We stay here several times a year because of location not choice. Almost every time we have problems with water and drain hookups requiring two hoses and two drain extensions. Never have this problem in our other travels. Poorly planned. Locations is good because it is midway between LA and Vegas or Kingman AZ. Be warned: bring extra water hose...

Barstow/Calico KOA is a great stop off campground. We arrived late but were greeted with a friendly face and the shop within the reception was extremely well stopped as we hadn't had a chance to stop and gets supplies. The facilities were excellent with a clean shower block, Launderette, spacious pitch, the site itself felt very friendly and was spotless....

Good sized level sites. Some shaded. They use Olenaders as site separators and they have a sign posted that warns about the danger to your pets and children if they eat the bushes. They run a free shuttle to the Calico Ghost Town. This is a good park for kids.

Good for overnight stop. Quiet, clean, dusty, flat. Easy access off highway. Level, dirt pull thru sites with full hookups. Some shade from large trees. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fills up late afternoon and everyone moves on next morning.

We stopped for just an overnight stay. KOA's always charge so much...I got better sites and amenities in other non KOA's. The staff was ok...not very friendly. The RV site was good. The pool there had so many younger kids in it that it did not make it enjoyable to try and relax...great for families but people without kids,,,not real...

The park looks barren at first, but you soon come to realize the high-desert winds and harsh conditions make it a perfect place to spend the night. Sites are wide, utilities work well, check-in without reservations were easy, and showers older but clean.

Like most KOAs, this one is conveniently located off an interstate (I-15). Checking in and pulling into our site was easy and quick. Lots of room so you don't have to worry about your slides hitting anything. Oleander bushes separate most sites while a few have trees. They have a large bounce pad and playground for the kids. Swimming pool...
