We stayed here just for one night as the second night we wanted was already fully booked. But we really felt we had a lovely break. We stayed in Tangalooma room which was beautiful - our own private balcony looking out into the forest. Beautifully furnished. Sue couldn't be more welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Spot on with suggestions...

My friend and I spent 1 night for a staycation from Brisbane CBD. We chose it because it was close to Sirromet winery, a lovely spot for wine tasting, lunch or dinner and only 10 min drive from the retreat. We also pre-booked an in-room massage which they outsourced to a masseuse from Ripple which was of a great standard....

We stayed in 'Pavilion' #1 and found the rooms very nicely appointed with a large, fully enclosed and furnished insect proof deck. The bed was super comfortable and the airconditioning, (on a 35 degree afternoon) was excellent. We loved the free inclusions including a caraffe of port, chocolate and Maccona pod coffee. The room includes a register of animals, reptiles...

Hi Scott - thanks so much for taking the time to provide feedback but also thank you so VERY much for the lovely review. I don't think we have that little snake on our list so thanks for adding to our lovely array of wildlife spotted here - happy travels, Sue

The cabin is very spacious and well equipped with airco, a very comfy large bed, a luxurious couch, induction cooking and even a decent chef's knife in the drawer. The fully meshed balcony is equipped with BBQ so you can enjoy the view without being bugged. Only remarks I can place is that the lakeside cabins are pretty close to...

Yes sorry about our pond but we have had very poor rainfall for quite some time so the lake is well down on its usual level and nothing to compare with the huge lakes over in your country which are pretty spectacular :-) Thanks for your lovely review and fore taking the time to provide it. happy travels - regards...

This B&B is located in a really tranquil bush settle, complete with Visits from baby possums and sharing your breakfast balcony the local Cockatoo, it's truly a special place! Little touches like fluffy robes and port and chocolate made us feel particularly spoilt. Breakfast is cooked freshly and individualised to your liking, they really go the extra mile to make...

I spent 1 night in cabin #6 with 2 friends. The room, kitchen and bathroom were modern with an AMAZING shower. The view of the woods was so peaceful and, sitting on the deck, we felt like we were in the middle of nature. Their was a generous bottle of complimentary port which we very much enjoyed, plus a pod...

This is a luxurious, quiet retreat. Each stand alone cabin is completely private. Lovely places to walk in the bush. A great stay when catching up with Brisbane friends. Sitting on the decking enjoying a drink as the sun set was so relaxing.

It is certainly a lovely spot - we have been here almost 20years and I still just love it and love having others who enjoy it as well. Those decks are magic aren't they - the fly screening was the best decision so you can enjoy the outdoors at any time.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Mt Cotton Retreat. It was just so easy to book and, when we turned up, we were greeted and made to feel welcome and we settled in quickly. Set amongst nature, the nature reserve on the property means we got to see a range of birds and animals. The room we had was Art...

Thanks so much RozM for your beautiful review and for taking the time to let us and others know. The Art Deco cabin is also my favourite so very glad you liked it. The bedhead was made from old pressed metal ceiling tiles which gave us the inspiration for this cabin. Great to have you coming back so soon to...

Spent 2 nights with 3 friends. Paid almost $800 and feeling very ripped off. Breakfast was disappointing, the eggs were terrible and there was no English breakfast tea. The fly screens on the patio were ripped, some holes were covered in tape. One of our bath towels was full of holes. The place was difficult to find in the dark,...

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and I'm sorry that our experience didn't met your expectations. I just wanted to take the time to respond to your concerns. We spent 3 nights here last week while visiting friends in Thornlands. The cabin was comfortable and stylish, the bush setting is beautiful, the breakfast was great and the staff friendly and helpful. We loved the dog too. I would highly recommend the Mt Cotton Retreat.
