You know how sometimes there are pictures of the place and then you get there and you wonder where the picture really was taken? Well that it is not the case here. The pictures of the Missions Lodge is exactly what you are looking at and even better! We hosted a Retreat there - the Lodge and Cottage 26. How...

We stayed here 3 nights in March 2016 in one of the smaller cottages. The outside of the cottage looked like an old mountain cabin that you might think of at a mountain lodge. The inside, however, was modern, clean and really exceptional. Plenty of hiking trails right outside the property, so no need to drive anywhere for a hike....

Last week I attended a 2.5 retreat at Chautauqua. It was delightful! My colleague and I were in Cottage 401, which is a two bedroom cabin--complete with a working fireplace and well appointed kitchen. It is a one bath cottage and the bath is a good size. It has a deep claw foot tub, with a shower attached. It was...

Chautauqua Cottages was a nice surprise during a December 2014 trip to Boulder. We rented a 2 bedroom cottage. Our cottage was clean and nicely stocked. The property was sold out during our visit--yet it was amazingly quiet! We didn't hear a peep from neighbors or passersby. Step out your front door to climb the Flatirons or hike. We wouldn't...

Lovely cottage, exceedingly clean. I was hoping for a mountain view however all the cottages seem to face down the mountain. It was not an issue as the walking trails are only steps away from the cottages. I ate at the Dining Hall which was very nice and went to a concert in the amazing 120 year old auditorium. I would...

Arrived without a reservation and got one of the 2 vacant cabins, so thought we would be getting last choice. To our pleasant surprise the cabin was wonderful, with separate lounge, bedroom and kitchen with dining area and a screened verandah as well as a small patio area at the back. Never heard a noise although on our second night...

We picked it because of reviews. Very clean and well kept. Accessible to the outdoors for walks with lots of hiking trails. If you just need to get away from the electronic world to relax and take in the scenery. You will not be disappointed.

We rented a two bedroom cottage that slept 4 people to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday. (We are all adults.) We loved it. It was spacious and comfy with a sweet screened in porch for relaxing. We were near the dining hall, trails and the ranger cottage and across the street was a lovely little park. The kitchen was adequate...

What a wonderful place to have a business meeting. The scenery is spectacular, with lots of access to hiking trails. Cabins are well-kept and comfortable and each one is unique. The service was friendly and welcoming. A great place for a retreat or a vacation.
