2nd year in a row for a New Years celebration and snowmobiling at Vega Lake Lodge. They are have new owners and I can not rave enough about the customer service and special attention our group received. The past owners were also wonderful but it did need updating as I believe we will see with these ambitious owners. Rooms were...

A wonderful place to get away from email and mobile phones. I spent one night in a small cabin. It was comfortable but quite small. Two nights in a larger cabin with several other people were most enjoyable - kitchen, sitting room. The restaurant is very good, especially the service. There are very nice walking paths around the lake.

Stayed in #3 cabin at Vega Lodge . No problems at all. No running water inside the cabin, water and facilities were a short walk away. Lake was high water due to runoff. Hiking and sight seeing were the things to do. This park is WELL away from everything. There is no phone or tv service available. I did find a spot...

Holy cow. We had the chicken burrito and could not get over how good it was. There was plenty left over for dinner. We will now plan our trip to Vega State Park so that we can be there for lunch. Can't wait to go back. This is an old resort but it is clean. The wait staff is. Wry...

First off: a word of warning, if you're expecting a traditional hotel experience with full wifi, cable TV and maid service this is not for you. Vega Lodge is charming and a unique experience that I'm still heartily recommending 18 months later. The cabins are clean but basic, there's a bed, lamp, small table and chairs, toilet, basin and shower,...

Congratulations to Troy and Leslie what a beautiful place for a weeding. This place has wonderful cabins. We ate at the restaurant and had drinks at the beautiful new renovated bar. Very good food service and all around warm hospitality. Beautiful view of the lake. Felt very welcome and at home. We will be back to do some fishing soon.

Yes, this is THE place in the Grand Mesa National Forest for boating, ATV riding, snowmobile riding and all things outdoor, but this review is about the Vega Lake Lodge and the best burger I have ever eaten. Frequented by locals, so you know it must be good, The Lodge offers the standard fare of steaks, sandwiches, salads, etc. While...

Vega Lodge has 30 acres of land overlooking Vega State Park. If you like boating, water skiing and fishing this is a perfect place for you. Vega State Park borders the Grand Mesa National Forest. There are over 100 miles of ATV/OHV and snowmobile trails accessible from Vega State Park. We were only able to stay one night, but the...
