Very dated motel. Air conditioner did not work well. No fitted sheets on bed. When one of our party complained about their room the owner lost control and started yelling and cursing and throwing things. Not professional at all.

Rude guest after check out. Told at check in to contact the office during their stay if they need anything or encounter a problem. We do not and never have used fitted sheets. As most hotels and motels use flat sheets and fold the corners. These guests checked out after our office used our computer and printed out all of...

We traveled from Oklahoma to Colorado Springs and were determined to find an American-owned motel. We found it with Mecca (yeah... the name is ironic). It is an older place in the vicinity of other kitschy motels, but this one is very well-kept and clean. The couple that owns it cleaned the rooms EVERY DAY during our week-long stay and...

Spent one night before driving up pikes peak. Near to Garden of the Gods and other attractions. Clean room comfy beds. Vintage motel that has been kept up. Great value Very friendly and knowledgeable owner. Pool looked awesome but it stormed the whole time we were there!! I hope to return someday.

This was our fifth, or sixth, time to stay at the Mecca over the years. And we were not disappointed! The rooms are clean, and Elizabeth and Gary make you feel right at home! The only reason I would stay anywhere else, would be if they were already full! ☺

This motel caught my eye because if the price and the great reviews. I was not disappointed. I would much rather stay in a smaller family opened motel than chains and this one was top notch. Very clean, guests were friendly and super convenient to attractions. I plan to stay here again when we come back.

First of all, I did not actually stay here. Please remember while reading that this review is not based on a stay, just a negative first impression that caused me to decide NOT to ever stay here. My daughters just moved to Colorado Springs and I visited last weekend. Part of my solo trip was to find great places for...

For the safety and privacy of our guests and housekeeping staff. We do not show rooms until they are clean, unoccupied and ready to rent. Invasion of privacy laws are very real and the safety of a housekeeper alone inside a room doing her job is our responsibility. We are very strict against showing rooms during the morning hours when...

To make it short - 3? nights stay during our vacation in September 2014. Very friendly greeted by the owner. She was very helpful in answering questions and made suggestions for trips in the area. Very clean property and so was our room. You could notice, that the owner placed very big value in keeping property and rooms in an...

This hotel is located on old Route 66 in a historic part of Colorado Springs near Manitou Springs. Garden of the Gods is very close, as well. The motel rooms was immaculate, as well as the entire motel. The rooms are relatively small, but adequate. The location is great for sightseeing in Colorado Springs. I highly recommend this motel.

The Mecca charges around 75$US per room, but it is worth it when traveling around the Springs area. There are lots of motels in the area, but this is one is very clean, which is the most important attribute. The rooms are staid and plain, but there is enough room to plant your stuff. The TV reception is very good...

There have to be reasons that this business enjoys so many repeat customers. In our experience it is quite simply that the owners and staff watch out for their guests' comfort and well-being. It is a quiet place and the other actual registered guests are treated as returning friends.
