We were in town for a wedding. The bride had arranged a block of rooms.
When I called to book my room, the front desk didn’t know about the block. I made the reservation thinking I would clear it up at check in.
Not that bad. If you're sensitive ask for the side of he hotel away from the tracks. Also,I think they put out earplugs too. But you can ask for them. Most good hotels that see near a train will have earplugs on hand.
