We were in Crested Butte for my daughter's October wedding. Originally we planned on renting a huge home and having our families stay with us. But that didn't work out. So we all stayed at the Ruby. Everything at The Ruby was more wonderful than...More
In my opinion, there's only one place to stay in Crested Butte: The Ruby of Crested Butte. The accommodations are clean and incredibly comfortable, but the staff is the crown jewel of the Ruby. They cook amazing breakfasts and provide great information about the area...More
We spent four days at the Ruby the end of August, first of Sept. Chris and Andrea and staff do a great job in making your stay at the B&B comfortable and memorable. The breakfasts are awesome and will keep you full until dinner! Also,...More

You will love either room…this place is amazing and we have never found owners as responsive as they. I would guess the 1 bedroom with patio and fireplace is on the first floor, where there are (I think) 3 other rooms..and the studio is on the second floor, behind the kitchen? It seems to me you will have more privacy on the second floor, but we stayed on the first floor and never heard the other guests. So…if you want to sit outside and enjoy the view go for the patio!
