We got into Colorado Springs after dark and favor casino hotels. Our GPS said 23 miles, one hour west. So we took off and went through Manitou Springs, Woodland Park and then through the country to Cripple Creek. Hotel was beautiful, well kept and the casino was nice with plenty to do. Beautiful trip down the mountain in the morning,...

We were told check in began at 3:00pm and so we arrived at a little after 3:00pm, only to be told that our room was not ready to be checked into. They made us wait for nearly an hour in the lobby, before allowing us to check in, while they checked in people around us. The room was dirty, the...

We stopped in for a quick one-night stay and loved it. Although the crowd was small (Thurs night) all were congenial and we had a lot of fun. The pit boss was quite generous comp'ing our room and free breakfast. The dealers were fun. Room was somewhat stark, but clean and the beds were quite adequate. We will definitely be...

Judging from the holes in the upholstery and overall worn appearance of the room I would say that gambling revenue must be down in Cripple Creek. Just visited the restaurant/buffet on this trip and the food was good. The overall experience was underwhelming.

I am starting this review with a huge THANK YOU to the fabulous conference staff at the Double Eagle. I have attended and put on several conferences and this staff far surpassed any other hotel conference venue. The food was good, the facilities very clean and well maintained. Nothing could frazzle this staff they are on the ball! You all...

We've stayed here before and liked it. It could use a little updating as chairs are wearing out. The food is not great but okay for a night or two. We had fun and we like to gamble there so nice to stay at same place

My sister and I booked a Non-Smoking, deluxe suite for a fabulous weekend. We dropped off our bags and noticed the smoking smell immediately. We called the front desk and reported it to the recording. No hotel person ever called. That night we also got to listen to the Service Elevator all night. So if sleep is important when booking...

The hotel is very clean and up to date. Staff was very friendly. We were given great summer rates. Casino was very good to my wallet. Stayed 2 nights and we were comped breakfast each morning. I won't ding the hotel because of the restaurant. That I'll do in a different review. The nice part of staying here, is you...

This has become one of our new favorite places..the hotel was very nice and their summer rate was very affordable for our budget. We enjoyed the non smoking casino and the beautiful weather. The front desk was very helpful and the hotel comped most of our food and part of our lodging. I would definitely recommend this hotel and casino...

We took a mini vacation to Cripple Creek with two teenage boys 14 and 15. Valet and Front desk employees were super friendly and helpful. The only employee who was not nice was a security guard, we forgot about the kids not supposed to be by the slots, which is hard because the restaurant is surrounded by them. He chased...
