This hotel is paired with the Wildwood Casino. The rooms are roomy and clean. There is a swiming pool. The shuttle runs back and forth to the Wildwood Casino on request. it is about a 5 minute ride. Gorgeous views of Cripple Creek from on top of a hill.

Chose this hotel under the mistaken assumption that it was physically connected to the Wildwood Casino a newer somewhat larger casino, just outside of the downtown. While it is owned by the Wildwood group, it was located a drive away. First impressions were mixed, exterior not well maintained, gardens overgrown but the front desk staff were very nice. During the... More

I don't know if they had/have water problems or what was going on, but as others said, the carpets were half ripped up on our floor. The heater/AC was so loud, only remedied finally in the wee hours of the night by a swift kick, and that was only temporary. The pool was cold, the sauna was off, and the... More

This hotel is the worst I have ever stay in. The heat don't work correctly you either freeze or roast to death. The hot water and cold water is backwards on the sinks. The pool and hot tub were green. The hallway had bare floors. The resturant they give you from your coupons are horrible. I got raw primerib.

The only reason I even considered staying at this hotel was because it advertised a gym and a pool which are important to me and my family. But the gym is sub-par at best and you have to do an improvised prison workout to get a decent session and be careful loading very much weight on the rusty old equipment.... More

Checked in around 3:00 p.m. 2/16/17. 2nd floor 3/4 hallway cement exposed. Cold and dirty. 1/4 had carpet. Under room door 1 to 2 inch clearing. Room smelled of urine. TV was at least 15 years old. (look like it weighed 150 pounds-yes that old) Bed was like a rocking horse and rattled. Carpet was stained. Chrome around light switch... More

The worst hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. No toilet paper in room no conditioner nor coffee. Hotel was dirty and not worth the price. The staff was nice but accomodations were aweful. Run from this hotel.

Gold King Mountain Inn is our favorite hotel in Cripple Creek. The beds are very comfortable, rooms are spacious and clean, there's an in-room fridge and coffee maker, and they offer a very reasonable dining package, along with other discounts for local restaurants and shops. They have a free shuttle along with a $10.00 credit for the slot machines at... More
