We were greeted by someone who was extremely drunk and who wanted to place us in a room that had no apparent privacy that was completely messed up. Odds and end junk on the kitchen floor, beds a mess and there didn't seem to be much privacy from the lame blinds . I mean, we accidently walked into this room...

This is the type of place you may come to love, but it might take more than first impressions. The B&B and surrounding wooden structures are tightly fit with lots of vechicles and people activity. For those who like it here, they seem to also love it here, as we met many return, long-term boarders with only great things to...

If you want to experience Cuchara and do some fishing at the same time, this is a nice comfortable place to stay that is reasonably priced. Mike makes a great breakfast. Homemade bread--French Toast with coconut was a treat!! Head up to Blue Lake. We are headed home with 12 Rainbow Trout. It's right behind The Dog Saloon, convenient for...

We were happily surprised by the large, well appointed rooms at the Dodgeton Creek Inn and warm and comfortable common area with overstuffed chairs, great lighting for reading and plenty of atmosphere. Mike Moore, the proprietor, is a friendly, loquacious wealth of information about the area. It was a little chilly to take advantage of the patio by the creek...

Met all our expectations. Lovely setting on a bubbling creek, nice outdoor patio, large comfortable room, good breakfast. For the money, an excellent experience. Appreciated that they took a 1-night reservation for us just passing through.

I don't understand the bad review of May 2013..My family has had a cabin in Cuchara for generations and we love the River's Edge for overflow. I have stayed there a few times in the last 10 years and it has been clean and comfortable...Mike is oh- wow yummy cook and a great host. One charming thing I remember from...

This is not the little B&B Inn as described on their web site. The place was very run-down and dirty. I understand the economy has made it difficult for business owners in the area to do upgrades or remodels. I can accept old and outdated, but I couldn't accept dirty and outright unclean! Our 3 night stay turned into a...

Quiet, comfortable and clean. Bonus: amazing breakfast served to fit your schedule and hearing the river run outside your windows at night. Dog friendly and one of the prettiest areas in Colorado. Great value for the money! We arrived later than expected and it was not a problem. Rare and refreshing. Located right behind The Dog Bar so you can...

We booked a room at what we thought was the River's Edge B&B, based on a friend's recommendation. However when we arrived, we were thoroughly confused because the building marked as "River's Edge" said it was for sale and looked empty! We found our way to the Dodgeton Creek Inn, which I remembered as being linked with the River's Edge...
