Stayed one night, had dinner and breakfast. Food is very good and more than reasonable when it comes to price. The service from the restaurant staff can't be faulted. The bar staff are full of information and suggestions. The staff are some of the friendliest I've encountered in NI. Not so sure of the bar manager, was quite dry. The...

A quick Friday night stopover in Maghera meant that we needed accommodation - and we stumbled upon Walsh's Hotel. My two colleagues and I had a lovely time staying in this very friendly and welcoming hotel. We checked in quite late and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They even reset their Wi-Fi router when we queried why we...

We were relieved to be told by a friendly waitress that meals are served until 9.00 p.m. having just dashed from the Pondarosa who turned us away because they stop serving at 8.00 p.m. The meal was in the bar where the music was a bit loud but we soon got used to that and focused on what was on...

I went for a spot of lunch with my wife yesterday afternoon to this hotel as we passed through Maghera. The choice of food on the Bar Menu was extensive and the food we had was well presented, very nice and very palatable. The price was very reasonable too and I would recommend this hotel for food to my family...

I live local and eat here often. The food is amazing. I'd definitely recommend the steak & gammon altho you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!! Yummy... But I would say if you're not a big cheese fan ask for it to come without as they use quite a lot. Not a criticism just not to my taste....

Stayed in Room 102. Furniture needs updated. Noise was excessive as we had to open windows due to room temperature being very hot. Drawers were broken & I have just tried to open curtains & curtain rail broke. Breakfast was decent but expected room to be less shabby.
