Spent 2 nights at this very nice campground and had a great time.The campsites are very spacious and clean.There is also a trolly that stops to take you to Durango every 20 min.Laundry,showers and store onsite.Awesome place!!!

Beautiful setting, friendly folks, easy to navigate and level...really nice! Vibrant gold fall colors surround the sites. Great views up and down the valley. Wonderful atmosphere in mid-October. Durango train runs through campground...really fun! Great wifi and Verizon cell service. We have been full timing...More

As with everything, there is good and bad. The campground is generally well kept. There is a pool for those who want it. There are RV spaces and tent campers so not really an RV resort. The Durango Silverton train goes right by the campground...More

The tracks for the Durango & Silverton Railroad run through this campground. They have three trains to Silverton in the morning, returning in the afternoon. The campground has RVs on the uphill side of the tracks and tents on the downhill side of the tracks....More
