You are paying for the location here, average motel offering clean rooms with average cold breakfast. The thing that spoilt it was the miserable reception staff. Not over welcoming!!!!!! Was dissapointed as we have stayed in seven motels during our visit and this was most u welcoming !

My husband and I stayed here a number of years ago, and recently found ourselves in the Durango area during a road trip. This is an older motel, but quire updated. It is clean and tidy. Location for us is key and this is within walking distance of downtown amenities. Adequate continental breakfast; friendly staff. Reasonably priced, too!

It was a great place as it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Check in was fast and the clerk was friendly. The small room was not an issue at all and offering a complimentary continental breakfast was a nice gesture. Nice small touches of an amenities shelf above the cistern and a swivel shaving room in the bathroom. The location...

Great place to stay. Right downtown and close to all the restaurants and stores. Very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and there was no street noise to make mention of. Check in was very courteous. I did not stay for breakfast.

This is a good reasonably priced hotel in historic Durango. A clean & comfortable room with a small but good complimentary breakfast. Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping & the Durango - Silverton Railroad. We were very happy there.

The room was clean. The heater and thermostat did not work right and when it came on it sounded like someone knocking on the door. The vending machines were empty, so we had to walk to the convenience store to get pop. The breakfast was not very good. You could hear people in the hallway and a lot of outside...

We had a balcony room and it was very nice and clean. The Lodge is only a couple of blocks from the train depot and only a block from the main road with a lot of restaurants, shops, bars and fun times. We didn't have to drive anywhere.

Very conveniently located right downtown. Locally owned, independent hotel with real value. My king sized bed was super comfortable and felt deluxe in my comfortable but modest room. Definitely recommend.
