Older motel. Was clean. No extra amenities. Perfect for for what we wanted to pay. People looking at a clean older low priced motel and complaining about wear and amenities baffle me. Would be happy to return here.

Planned to stay a night in Durango during a family vacation. Was looking for a hotel around (preferably under) $100/night with available rooms. Went to many places along the main road and decided to go with the Spanish Trails Inn. I did request to view a room before making a reservation. The lady was very understanding and let me view...

In some ways, the room seemed a little dated, but everything worked fine. The beds were the most comfortable we had on our trip. WiFi worked fine; the laundry was convenient. Interesting landscaping--some pretty flowers! A lot of trees and bushes; didn't seem quite so generic as some chain sites.

Eric and Liv nailed it. It was clean and comfortable, few amenities but the price was right. It was convenient to other stores but downtown was a mile away but then again that was true of most of the motels in the area.

We were in Durango for a conference and stayed at the Spanish Trails Inn and Suites. The staff at check in was wonderful and we were very pleased with the room. It's an older place, but is very well taken care of. The only thing we suggested was weather stripping around the doors for winter. Other than that we thoroughly...

It was a clean old motel past it's prime. It is a very bare bones operation - the front desk has limited hours of operation - leave before 6AM - the front office building is locked - no way to contact someone - no safe place to leave your room key(yeah it is a real key) - so left back...

GOOD: Our room was very spacious, clean, nice linens, with kitchenette. It was a great location for us too. BAD: no coffee pot in kitchenette, did not offer any type breakfast (ugh), a/c did not keep room at a comfortable temp (72-73 degrees)

We booked this room last minute so we were willing to accept a few less amenities. You will not find a coffee maker or a cookie in your room but it was clean and comfortable, we did not hear the next room, and the night clerk got us an extra blanket (I enjoy the AC but she gets cold) quickly...

Its just a road warriors inexpensive option for sleep. We booked on Hotwire for $80, and say several other class 2 options nearby for $55. Although its an older place, the room was clean and comfortable for a quick nite of sleep before catching a 630 flight. It is 25 minutes to the airport from this hotel.

Durango is pricey, so this was a clean and quiet decently priced place to stay. No breakfast, but a McD's near the train station if riding the train; no alarm clock, no phone, but not needed in this day and age. TV a relic, but worked. No pool.
