This is the second time in two years we have stayed at the Durango Downtown Inn. It has very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The bathrooms are a little small but since it was just the two of us, it worked fine. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I could not get our internet to work when we...

While the location is good, the rooms are gross. There was mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom and mosquitoes flying about the room; however, most disgusting was the random wet spots and stains on the carpet. I am not sure what they could have been from but it is a dog friendly hotel. Due to the absence of cleanliness,...

Pool and spa were gross. We left an expensive memory foam pillow in room and somehow no one could find it. Room was old, way overpriced. the one good thing is it is in a good location, close to river. Would not stay here again, certainly not for the price.

We happened to get to town 3 days after a toxic spill into the Animas, but still really enjoyed walking along the trail directly behind the Hotel. Nice room, very clean and comfy, not real big.... We parked our car when we got to the room, and didn`t get back in for 3 days. Downtown and GREAT restaurants are easy...

Hotel was clean, beds ok and it was quiet. Good location within walking distance to downtown and the train. Convenient to leave a vehicle parked there to avoid parking fees. Lots of good restaurants around it within walking distance.

I had never been to Durango before and I booked this hotel online. I arrived about an hour or two early before check-in and they let me get a room anyways, which was nice because I drove over 6 hours and I was tired. The lobby was nice and thought it would somewhat reflect the quality of the rooms. My...

Excellent location in Durango, very close to the downtown area, railway station, museum and restaurants. Back of the hotel is on the river, and river walk. Rooms are very spacious, very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Area is very quiet. There is a restaurant attached to this Hotel which is very convenient. Pool area is very nice, there is also...

I stayed at the Downtown Durango Inn for 2 days and was totally satisfied. The room was good sized, the Wifi was strong, and the TV channel selection was excellent. It also had a mini fridge and microwave. Best of all, it was a 5 minute walk to the train terminal (and Starbucks and everything else downtown) and directly adjacent...

This hotel is walking distance from Historic Durango and backs up to the Animas River. The room we stayed in was clean, but basic. There were no frills, but we weren't planning on spending much time in the room anyway. The room was comfortable. I would suggest getting a room on the river side of the hotel. The second floor...

The best thing about this hotel is it's location. If you get a room on the river side you can pull your chairs outside of your room and watch the rafters and people fishing. It's very pleasant. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown and the grocery store. The staff was very pleasant and very accommodating! However, a continental...
