Located right downtown. Very comfortable beds and great little touches. Staff was courteous and efficient. Loved the ambience and Ace Gillett's is a great restaurant located on the bottom level. The hotel itself is an old historic building. All rooms have been renovated but keep that historic feel. The bathroom amenities such as shampoo and conditioner are exceptional. The décor...

City noise can be an issue, as can the omnipresent train, otherwise, this small boutique hotel can't be beat. We asked to move our room location from the street, to the back of the hotel. While this placed us in proximity to the train... for me it wasn't an issue. My wife said it woke her once in the middle...

We stayed here on our visit to Fort Collins and were delighted with its charm. We decided to stay here instead of Marriott Residence Inn (which was cheaper and included free breakfast) because of its close proximity to the Old Town area. The location was ideal - walking distance from EVERYTHING. Front desk staff was so friendly. And this little...

I absolutely love this place! Shannon was wonderful. Beautiful room bed were very comfortable. Very environmentally friendly. Ace Gillette's had great appetizers and drinks. They treated us like royalty, without the pretension. We'll be back for sure.

This was the second time I have stayed at the Armstrong Hotel in Fort Collins. Although the convenience of staying right downtown in amazing, the elevator work was exhausting. They began work very early in the morning and my room was directly across from the elevator. I do understand the need for maintenance, but goodness, it started so early. I...

Stayed here for a conference at CSU. It's a 15 minute walk to campus. Downstairs and next door is a coffee shop with baked goods. There are plenty of restaurants around: Indian, Thai, and of course brew pubs. Rooms are spacious with a queen sized bed, desk, and flat screen. Well decorated inside. If you need to use an elevator,...

Rooms were very nice and clean. The hardwood floors mean that you hear your fellow travelers a little more than you might like. We loved having the extra room (two-room layout) allowing for a little more privacy and space to spread out. Front desk staff were courteous and helpful.

This hotel is listed as a 3 star. I would give it 3+. It's better than average. Pros of room. We stayed for 2 nights in room 216, an inside room with 2 rooms in which each had a queen size bed. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and I loved the bedding. It was very cozy. Each room had a...

This is a charming hotel! The first night we stayed in a smaller room as I had forgotten to make hotel reservations for our first night! It was a fun room! Very small and the bed was so high, we had to climb to get in. The next two nights we were on the third floor in a suite that...

It is seldom the case in the US that you look forward to visiting a downtown of a small city off the main highway. There are some wonderful exceptions, and one of them is Fort Collins, Colorado. The old business district is alive and well with a wise assortment of truly interesting businesses. To best enjoy what it was that...
