If you're looking for a convenient place to stay that is near the bus terminal, this is it! Just get off the Route 9 bus at the last stop, walk to the KFC, and cross the street. Friendly, comfortable, and clean!
We got in late and the lady at the desk got us checked in quick on up to our room. It's all pretty basic, nothing fancy. Old school...they still use actual keys which my 12 year old had never seen used at a hotel lol. Small bathroom, beds are a bit on the hard side but overall it's an ok place.
It's a standard room, but very expensive. But not much you can do in this area during ski season. Rooms were acceptable at a lower price level for cleanliness, appointment and repair. Close to freeway, hwy 6 and shops.
We were very pleased with our stay here. The room was quite clean and comfortable. The woman at the front desk was friendly. We did not try the breakfast but looked decent. If you’re looking for a lower price point in the area, this is a great option.
Everything seemed good upon initial check-in. Upon arriving at our room, we were a little surprised to find that there were not enough beds for the number of people we had booked in our party. Assuming we just needed to request a roll away or cot as is common in these situations, we went back to the front desk to figure out our options. Rather than working with us, we were treated like we were idiots as the staff referenced an obscure statement on the booking website that says "no extra cribs or beds". After expressing frustration at the experience and walking away, the hotel clerk continued to yell at me as I walked away claiming, "It's all right here in black and white!" Definitely not worth your money to stay here. I would have booked a room at a cheaper location with a cot had I known we would not have enough beds. There's a reason you list the number of guests and ages when booking. If you can't accommodate the number of guests in the room selected, the booking should not be allowed to go through. At the end of the day, the rude and impatient front desk staff made this our first and last stay at the Summit Inn. …
