DO NOT STAY HERE IT IS A SCAM. My family and I were stuck in Wyoming from latest snow storm and unable to cross into Colorado. We attempted to call the hotel numerous times and no answer and voicemail was full. Called corporate and they were of zero help and attempted to offer us points instead of a refund... as if we would ever choose a Choice Hotel again. Read the reviews... customer service is awful and they will do whatever they can to take your money. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!
Where do I start? See photos. Fridge was stinky and didn’t work. No towel hooks or holders whatsoever in the bathroom. Hangers were broken. Holes in wall and peeling wall paper. No suitcase stand. Sitting chair was filthy. Oh, and the cleaning crew doesn’t wear masks nor do half the guests.
Not a bad hotel. Only complaint is there are no vending machines on site. They have drink coolers in the lobby that have been unplugged and are empty. If you want a water, soda, etc you have to leave the hotel. Not a deal breaker.
We had had a long and streasful day of travel in the snow. We pulled into the Grand Hotel when our GPS took us there as we were suppose to go to the Ramada next door. The snow was so thick we couldnt see where to park and what hotel was what. I went into the hotel tired, worried, and unsure of where we were. There was no one at the front desk. I waited 5 mins or more for someone to come after sayimg hello and looking for a way to call someone up front. When someone finally came the man answered the phone, ignored me. When he was done I saw this isnt the Ramada is it. He said no their sign is in the middle of our property. I said can you tell me please where it is, our gps took us here. He said its the white builsing next door. Before I could ask another question he said, lady I dont know what state your from, but here in CO we wear masks. He continued to say " You dont have one on, I am not helping you, I dont even want to speak to you, get out of my face and this hotel." I couldnt believe how rude and nasty he was. I will never ever recommend the grand hotel to anyone. Even if you ha e a bad day or dont like someone, you should never speak to a person like this. That guy should be fired for treating a potential customer like dirt. Do not stay at the grand hotel in frisco, CO they are rude and nasty.…
We stayed here for one night in October 2020. Check in was quick and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and nice. The hotel was very quiet and seemed pretty large like it was used for conventions maybe. It seemed fairly empty and all the amenities were closed including the gym, pool, ice machines and restaurant. The game room and laundry room were available. They had hand sanitizer stations at the entrance and at each elevator. We left early In the morning and there was no one manning the front desk and the front doors were locked. We were informed this would be the process between midnight and 7 am but it added to the deserted feel of the property. There was a number to call if we needed assistance. Our King room was very nice and clean. We found the bed to be very comfortable and had a great stay. If you’re just looking for a nice clean room right off the freeway, this a great option.…
