I needed to stay overnight in the Grand Junction area and although there are a multitude of hotels (many big-name ones), the Econo Lodge frankly had the best reviews. I have not stayed in many Econo Lodges but last year stayed in a surprisingly nice one in the Midwest. Anyhoo, based on the Trip Advisor reviews, I booked in and...

Nice, clean, comfy! Very satisfied with our room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Clean bathroom facilities. Room had a microwave and mini fridge. We checked in early and went out to see the area. Turns out, Grand Junction has a "Farmers market" every Thursday in the summer. They close off about 6 blocks of Main Street. There are tables, tents,...

The room was nice and it's a very convenient place to get to if you are on I-70. It's a small hotel and they have a free breakfast, but the breakfast room is very small so it's hard to get to the food if anyone else is in there. There were four of us sharing one room and the only...

We do have a small breakfast room. We are trying to find ways to expand it, but we are finding it will require a massive remodel. So... looks like that may happen in the next few years! We hope to see you again soon! And remember, we have double beds, so you may want to talk to us about a...

Nestled not far off the Interstate, it was a good choice for a stopover. The front desk personnel was helpful during the check in process. Room was smaller than expected. But that's not a big issue. We did not, however, like the unpleasant smell when we first stepped into the room. Seemed like the room needs some airing. Basic amenities,...

First of all, let me start by saying that I had booked a "non-refundable" room and needed to change the date by one day. I called the hotel directly and Lauren was able to check with her manager and bump the day back for me!! That was so awesome!!! This is a great hotel, especially for the low rate. I...

There are times we can make changes, and we are always happy if it is one we can change. I'm so glad we were able to help! Come see us again soon! There is a great Japanese place near by if you like sushi.

We stayed for 2 nights in June to hike in Colorado National Monument and were very pleased with our stay. Good clean room and bed, and a good enough variety in the breakfast to get us going. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We arrived on a REALLY hot day--the room was clean, comfortable and blessedly cool. It's located right off the freeway behind a gas station, so take that first quick left or you'll have to circle back. The decor looked updated in our room. The breakfast room is small, but they had a nice assortment of juices, boxed cereal, muffins and...

The Octopus Coffee Shop. We will have to look into that. (Always looking for exceptional coffee for the hotel) Thanks for the review, and hope to see you again!

This was our first time staying at Econo Lodge and we had a nice stay. The location is right by the freeway so it was easy to find and right next to the Clarion Inn, other motels, and literally right next to the Shell gas station. The room was spacious, clean and functional with great air conditioning, however, the room...

A minimum of acknowledging a guest, even if it will be a while before tending to you, is a must we require from all our employees. We aren't entirely sure who it was, but that would be beside the point. We will be letting everyone know (as a refresher) of this requirement. We do hope to see you again soon!

You can't beat this place for a much needed good night sleep during a long road trip. The facilities are clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly. This all adds up to an exceptional stay at a price point that is hard to beat.

Value for money is key. We look for ways to make your money go farther, without charging more. It's a fine line, but we have worked it fairly well. We hope your next stay is as pleasant as your last!

The Econo Lodge in Grand Junction was a model budget hotel. The staff are very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient. We arrived a little late (approximately 10:00pm), but we got our room and got everything in before heading out to grab a little food from Taco Bell. No disturbances in the room, clean, convenient parking, and easy layout of...
