While I do understand that hotels need to remodel, it's always a hassle when you visit coincides with that remodeling. Felt very comfortable in the room and happy to visit again. The breakfast was open early and I was able to get out the door and start my day. Location is great and parking was close to the hotel garage door. Renovation is going on, this wasn't noticed while staying. Very seamless.

The Hampton was pleasant and met their usual standards for quality. But they are remodeling and the construction noise indicated a very low skill level. Demolition seemed to involve sledge hammers. Until the remodel is done try one of the neighboring hotels. It should be excellent after that time.

We were on a road trip and needed a place to stay for the night in Grand Junction. I actually called the Doubletree Hotel (which we have stayed at and love) for a reservation, but they do not accept pets and we had our Golden with us. The Hilton Honors rep recommended the Hampton Inn and it had good reviews....

Our family spent one night at this hotel. We brought our dog. It was great to know we could count on Hampton Inn for a clean and comfortable room and a tasty breakfast. Weather conditions forced us to locate a hotel during our trip east (California to Denver). Always a good experience with the Hilton chain, especially Hampton Inn. This location did not let us down. Very friendly and competent front desk secured our last minute arrival with our pet dog. Hotel is currently under renovation but it did not impact our stay....

I arrived not feeling well and then ended up being sick. Very little makes you feel so pathetic as getting sick far away from home. The staff was super kind, somebody went to the supermarket to get me saltines and applesauce (my request) and as a really classy gesture, they made me a present of it!

As a road warrior who spent 24 satisfactory stays in Hampton Inns this year, and one who always recommends the Hampton Inn chain, I cannot recommend this particular property while they are renovating. The fresh berries available at breakfast is really what made my breakfast more enjoyable. This was the first Hampton Inn that I have stayed at, that did have the fresh berries...a definite plus.
