It was a nice hotel and you did not have to always deal with the town traffic. I had been hoping for a lake view but was told there were none but some rooms did have a glimpse of the lake. By all means try to get a balcony. Really clean nice rooms. We enjoyed our stay. Most of the...

The hotel is clean and attractive with it's warm log furnishings and ample parking near the door. The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. We'd asked for a ground floor room with a balcony and view. We got all 3, but right below the balcony was a huge and ugly vent of some sort. Neither of the bedside lamps...

The room was spacious and we loved the log furniture, from lamp stands, rocking chair, dresser and desk. It was refreshing to break away from the monotonous chain hotel furniture. We had a balcony with a view of Grand Lake. The deck had two chairs and a table. There were stands for two suitcases. The offering of soaps and bathroom...

The room we had was spacious and well equipped. A bit noicy though from the highway nearby. Simple continental breakfast. Wifi was rather slow. The room rate was quite high, probably due to the high season. Anyway, it is a good stop before entering the Rocky Mountains NP

This is a place where the owners appear to be trying very hard to make a decent place. The room was nice and roomy and the beds were comfortable. We had a complimentary smore on the patio in the evening, which was a really nice touch. There is a bit of a "sensory overload" with all the mountain motif that...

One of the nicest places we stayed during a 9-day trip in Rocky Mountains. Grand Lake is an interesting town and this Inn really understands how to take care of visitors. We had a beautiful balcony room with very cool furnishings, there was a wonderful lodge great room (log cabin look) with games, bar, musical entertainment, large porch with fires...

Both great, good, and bad to report: Bad: 1. They need a new type of reservation system! A large group took over the hotel for a wedding and MANY reservations got mixed up. Our daughter's room got canceled (she was one of the first to book a reservation) that finally got fixed, our son's stay was scheduled for 3 nights...

This is a delightful mountain hotel. The beds were made from logs and the room comfortable. Jennifer at the check in desk was so helpful. She even helped us resolve a computer issue we were having with our personal computer. Love the young people's expertise! The highlight was fixing s'mores on the deck over the fire pit table. A special...

Our room here was nice, with a nice balcony overlooking the lake and a comfy bed. The bar off the lobby has a very strange vibe. It felt like it was only for locals. When we walked in, the guys sitting at the bar all turned and stared, very weird, so we didn't stay. Yes, this place offers a free...

sqrlgirl, Thank you for the review. We are very sorry that you didn't find the breakfast appetizing. It is served from 6:30 to 10:00 AM and we try to keep it fully stocked throughout that time. As for the bar, we do welcome everyone whether you are a guest of the hotel or a town local. Most guests do find...
