We stayed here because they were dog friendly! We stayed in the moose lodge and it was very comfortable. We have a family of five with two large dogs. The kids had plenty of room with a fold down futon as well as a bunk...More

Fort Moose was a great choice for your family! The beautiful Queen log bed in the bedroom gives adult couples a little privacy and the kids really seem to enjoy the bunks and futon in the main room (The TV is out there and so...More

Husband and I were heading to Grand Lake for a few days during the week. I wanted a cabin as opposed to a "room". These guys provided that and so much more! If it's not in your cabin, which is well stocked, then they offer...More

We were guests here before we were managers and during our stays developed a pretty good sense of what makes the units feel like a little "Home-Away-From-Home". We have a great time taking care of a place where our senses of humor and creativity can...More

I stayed at the North Shore portion of the Mountain Lakes Lodge with a friend during a recent visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. The motel/cabin had a few nice touches and great views out onto the lake. We rented a two bedroom unit, but...More

We're glad you enjoyed your stay and would recommend North Shore Resort! We sometimes offer a deck room to guests who book into #9 (the only 2-bedroom), which faces the road and doesn't have a view. The view is a favorite aspect of North Shore...More

Cleanliness and a hot shower fill my basic room needs and the Mountain Lakes Lodge set up offered both. A bonus came from a pleasant porch offering a pretty view of Shadow Mountain Lake (full moon helped). A "mom-and-pop" operation run by a couple who...More

Thank you for taking the time to review the lodging. We're not sure at which location you stayed, since neither are on Shadow Mountain Reservoir and both have decks with views of the water. We don't want folks to be confused; North Shore Resort is...More

What a wonderful rustic lodge! It's like we had our own little cabins. We loved everything about the decor in the 2 rooms we had (Garden Patch and Gone Fishing). Each of these rooms had anything and everything we needed. The items available in the...More

Hi. We accept up to 2 dogs up to a combined total of 80lbs, per Pet Stay Fee. The fee is $25 plus tax ($26.42) and covers the duration of your stay. All units have kitchenettes, but the size varies. Best, Edie
