Were in Grand Lake visiting for the holiday. The unit was very comfortable, not over the top, but everything we needed was there. The bedroom was small but again suited our needs for a two day stay. The best part was the location, and walking distance to everything. My only suggestion on improvement was the pet fee was an additional...

Spirit Lake Lodge is just what it represents itself to be. It is basic, no frills, clean accommodations. It is centrally located and a short walk to just about everything in town. It's not a place you'd want to hangout in, but then I doubt many visitors to Grand Lake are there to stay inside.

We travel alot, and this is one of our favorite places to stay. Quiet, comfortable, very well maintained. Very nice owners. We plan on staying here a few times each year. We love the room with fireplace and separate bedroom. This hotel also allows our dog, which is wonderful! Thank- you for another wonderful stay!

I loved the woodwork of the hotel and in the rooms. We had a suite with a bedroom separated from the living room. The bedroom was a little tight for maneuvering however the bed was comfortable. The living room had a sofa and a few chairs - and out on the balcony were benches to sit on and watch the...

We were camping near Grand Lake and encountered more rain than originally anticipated and figured we'd see if any of the hotels had vacancy (we're expecting it being Labor Day weekend). We happened to walk by this one, saw a vacancy sign and went in. The gal at the front desk was really nice, helpful, and efficient. She found that...

We stayed here for one night. Got the suite with a fireplace and a couch inside. Absolutely wonderful. Very short walk to town with great places to eat. Overall a great stay, and the office has fresh coffee brewed every morning for all guests.

Grand Lake is an old fashioned lake town, reminiscent of the lake lodges and towns in the Adirondacks. It is not fancy at all. This motel is actually one of the nicer looking ones. The room was fine although it took quite a while for the heater to warm up the room. The beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom...

We came to Grand Lake for a wedding and took a room here. The wedding guests were spread throughout the area and from what I heard from the others, this place is very good by comparison. Rate was reasonable, staff friendly, room clean and spacious (upstairs King). It's a motel by any standards but a good one.

Really 31/2 stars would be the rating for this hotel. Stopped here after a two hour drive. Town was busy and my wife and I took a chance on finding a room for the night. Saw the vacancy signed and enter the office. Said they had just had two cancellations. Took a upper floor room in the lodge. $160.00 a...

This is a motel type lodging on the main road through town. Rustic, log cabin look. Room was very clean, but on the small side. We had a room with a very small bedroom big enough for a queen bed and another sitting room with tv, desk, couch and chair. There is a communal hot tub which we didn't try. People...
